At HomeVision, we’re enabling the home valuation and appraisal industry to efficiently value a $40 trillion asset class, bringing equity and transparency to the US housing market. We’re funded by Initialized Capital and seeing good traction and revenue growth. We are looking for a talented Frontend Engineer to help evolve our products and delight our customers.

Strong empathy for our end users and an ability to think holistically about the product are essential to succeed in this role.

What you’ll do:

You’ll work on a modern React/Typescript and Golang stack, building workflow automation products for our core user base of home appraisal professionals.

HomeVision engineers are empowered to work on the entire product, not just a specific layer of the stack. This could range from productionizing a valuation model to optimizing customer onboarding to building frontend data visualizations that communicate results in a humane, intuitive way.

What you’ll bring:

  • Strong experience in full-stack development on both backend and frontend systems and frameworks.

  • Proven working experience in Unix/Linux environments and on distributed systems

  • Ability to learn and master new programming languages and technologies.

Bonus points:

  • Experience in one or more of the following technologies: Go, Python, React/Typescript, Elasticsearch, and Docker.

  • Experience in scientific and numerical computing (e.g., numpy, scipy, scikit-learn, tensorflow, pytorch, jupyter) considered a plus.

What we'll offer you:

  • A competitive salary and a meaningful equity package

  • Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage

  • 401k

  • Paternity/maternity leave

  • Flexible vacation policy

  • A high degree of autonomy and ownership of your work

  • Support for your professional goals and learning within and beyond the company, through your manager and peers
