Dexmate is building the foundation for physical AI — combining a new generation of robots with a universal Physical AI OS, making robots as easy to build and deploy as software. Today, robotics is fragmented, slow, and closed: most builders are forced to reinvent the same stack again and again, and most ideas never make it past the prototype stage. We exist to change that. Our mission is to democratize robotics by lowering the barrier to entry, delivering a plug-and-play platform for developers, researchers, and enterprises, and cultivating an open ecosystem that accelerates the evolution of physical AI. If you want to help shape the next layer of human capability — and believe the future of robotics should be built together, not in isolation — we'd love to build it with you.
About This Role
You'll push code to production in your first week. Our robot platform serves customers managing physical robots. You'll work alongside our designer and engineering team building the web interfaces that connect humans with our robots.
What You'll Do
- Build and refine interactive UI components using modern frontend frameworks (Vue 3 / React)
- Collaborate with designers, backend engineers, and robotics teams to deliver features end-to-end
- Implement real-time data visualization for robot status, sensor data, and telemetry
- Use AI-assisted development tools (Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, etc.) to accelerate your workflow
- Review and get reviewed — we run lightweight PRs with fast turnaround, not bureaucratic gates
- Learn rapidly on the job — you'll encounter new frameworks, protocols, software and hardware concepts weekly
What We're Looking For
Required:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript fundamentals
- Experience with at least one modern frontend framework (React or Vue)
- Familiarity with REST APIs and basic understanding of client-server architecture
- Active user of modern collaboration and community platforms (GitHub, Discord, Slack, Notion, etc.)
- Proficient with AI-powered development tools (Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code) and eager to push their limits
- Interest in AI agents, multi-agent systems, and building AI-integrated interfaces
- Basic understanding of CI/CD concepts and automated testing workflows
- Demonstrated ability to self-teach — e.g., picked up a new framework, language, or tool for a personal project without formal instruction
- Comfortable working async (PRs, docs, written specs) and sync (pairing sessions, design reviews)
Bonus Points:
- Experience with Node.js or Python for backend/scripting tasks
- Familiarity with SQL databases and basic query writing
- Exposure to Docker or cloud platforms (AWS)
- Understanding of WebSocket / Socket.IO for real-time communication
- Experience with authentication flows (JWT, OAuth)
- Experience contributing to or managing open-source / technical communities
- Experience building community-oriented products (forums, social platforms, user systems)
- Familiarity with 3D rendering (Three.js, WebGL) or data visualization (ECharts, D3)
- Portfolio or personal projects that showcase your skills
