The role

As a Full Stack Engineer, you’ll own and ship core parts of our platform for deploying AI agents within enterprises.

You’ll work across the stack from data pipelines, agent infrastructure to customer-facing features to help scientists, engineers, and manufacturers accelerate innovation.

This role is for someone who thrives on ownership, moves fast, and cares about impact.

What you will do
  • Build and ship new agent capabilities end-to-end across our TypeScript + Python stack

  • Develop and optimize backend services that power large-scale LLM pipelines, agents, and real-time data interactions

  • Work on performance-critical data infrastructure for ingesting, querying, and visualizing time series data

  • Design and deploy tools to evaluate, fine-tune, and serve AI workflows and agents in production

  • Contribute to core platform engineering from CI/CD, observability, resilience, and developer experience

We could be a fit for you if:
  • You have shipped meaningful products end-to-end, ideally across both backend and frontend

  • You have a first-principles understanding of AI agents, LLM workflows, or distributed systems

  • You take ownership. You care deeply about outcomes, not just tickets.

  • You communicate clearly and enjoy working collaboratively as part of a team

  • You’re strong in Typescript, Python or other software development frameworks

Key success milestones for this role

Within 7 days

  • Develop a deep understanding of the Ohm platform, developer workflow and our customers' use cases

  • Ship your first full-stack feature or bug fix

  • Start testing Ohm features internally and flagging key improvement areas for engineering

Within 30 days

  • Take ownership of a product feature and lead the design and implementation

  • Collaborate with other engineers to improve the AI, data and backend infrastructure

  • Propose improvements to performance, UX, or internal tooling

Within 60 days

  • Lead the development of a new capability end-to-end

  • Shape architectural decisions as we scale the platform and serve more customers

  • Become a go-to engineer for a key area of the stack

About Ohm

Cursor and Claude Code reimagined how software products are developed. Our mission is to address the next frontier: artificial intelligence that reimagines how physical products are developed.

Every complex physical product - a battery cell, an electric vehicle, a wearables device - is developed through a process that generates enormous quantities of data, almost none of which is used to its potential. This is an opportunity that AI was built to solve.

Ohm is an enterprise AI platform that helps engineering teams transform how they develop, test, and validate physical products. Teams across battery, consumer electronics, and aerospace use Ohm to compress product iteration cycles, cut testing and validation costs and accelerate data analysis.

We are a lean, high-ownership team of A-players - engineers, ex-founders, sales leaders, and PhD battery scientists building Ohm in San Francisco. We leverage AI to move faster with higher quality results, across every area of the company. Ohm is backed by Y Combinator and other world-class investors as well as serial founders and builders.

What we offer
  • An opportunity to work in person in San Francisco with a lean team dedicated to building something great

  • Ownership of product areas and the opportunity to shape our engineering culture

  • Flexible PTO - we trust you to balance rest with the high intensity of an early-stage startup

  • Team off-sites to bond, get creative and build

  • Health, vision, dental
