Full Stack Web Engineer

Job Overview

Cerity Partners is seeking an Experienced Full Stack Engineer with expertise in modern JavaScript and TypeScript to create engaging, responsive, and high-performance user interfaces. You will work closely with our designers, back-end developers, marketing and content teams to build and maintain our websites and applications that deliver exceptional user experiences which are integral to our brand awareness, content engagement and lead generation marketing efforts.

The Full Stack Engineer will be responsible for developing and maintaining website infrastructure, application integration, coding, and programming both front-end and back-end experiences. Daily tasks will include designing, implementing, and managing websites using our current WordPress platform, creating user interfaces, troubleshooting website problems, and keeping abreast of the latest industry trends to ensure the site is always performing at its best. In the near future, we will be modernizing and migrating to a new web hosting platform which requires this individual to work with our internal IT team on how best to optimize that migration.

Full Stack Engineer Requirements:

• 5-7 years of professional experience as a Full Stack Developer and Senior Engineer.
• Proven experience managing and scaling high-traffic WordPress websites.
• Advanced proficiency in DevOps, Front-End and Back-End web development, design and platforming with JavaScript and TypeScript for financial services and technology companies.
• Experience with marketing integrations, GTM, GSC, HubSpot, and Salesforce and evaluating workflows.
• Appreciation and understanding of ADA best practices and approaches.
• Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting and communication skills and a demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with engineers as well as non-technical stakeholders on our marketing team.
• Proficiency with MySQL and a strong understanding of database performance in a WordPress context.
• Ability to work independently and remotely.
• Understanding of CRO and SEO practices.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
