Casap is a seed-stage startup based in San Francisco founded by Product Leaders from Robinhood and Chime. We are on a mission to change the way banks operate by building an autonomous banking platform from the ground up. Casap is looking for a talented Fullstack Engineer in San Francisco excited to supercharge how banks operate with a rapidly scaling product at the forefront of automation and Artificial Intelligence

Responsibilities
  • Build, scale, and maintain a high-performing, responsive user interface using Next.js that delivers a seamless user experience across devices.

  • Collaborate closely with product, design, and other engineering teams to ship features that directly impact user and business needs.

  • Design and implement robust architectural patterns for both frontend and backend services, promoting code reuse, scalability, and maintainability.

  • Design and implement features that support growth, configurability, and flexibility to reduce time-to-market and support a broad range of use cases.

  • Own the end-to-end development and deployment of key features, including decisions around the technology stack, system design, and implementation strategy to ensure optimal performance and scalability.

  • Make effective tradeoffs that consider business priorities, user experience, and a sustainable technical foundation

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in software development, with at least 2 years focused on fullstack development using Next.js and AWS in production environments.

  • Demonstrated experience contributing significantly to system architecture, with expertise in both frontend frameworks (React/Next.js) and backend services.

  • Care deeply about the user experience and take pride in building products to solve problems and delight users.

  • Have a high quality bar, attention to detail, and helps teammates deliver polished products.

  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
