About the Role

As a Functional Expert Champion, you'll help nonprofit organizations get the most value from Blackbaud's RE NXT platform by combining product expertise, industry best practices, and customer engagement. You'll serve as a trusted advisor, thought leader, and product advocate, helping customers adopt new capabilities, understand emerging AI innovations, and achieve meaningful business outcomes.

Working across Product, Customer Success, Marketing, Sales, and Data & AI teams, you'll translate complex product capabilities into clear, compelling stories that drive customer success, product adoption, and long-term growth.

What You'll Do
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and advocate for RE NXT Web View and emerging AI-powered capabilities.
  • Engage directly with customers to increase product adoption, optimize workflows, and drive measurable business outcomes.
  • Deliver presentations, webinars, executive briefings, product demonstrations, and industry thought leadership content.
  • Partner with customers to identify best practices and help them achieve greater operational maturity and success.
  • Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to shape messaging, adoption strategies, and customer enablement programs.
  • Develop customer-facing resources including playbooks, best-practice guides, case studies, and success stories.
  • Analyze product usage and customer feedback to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Act as a liaison between customers and internal teams, helping influence product innovation and future roadmap priorities.
What We'll Want You to Have
  • 8+ years of experience in Customer Success, Product Marketing, Solutions Consulting, Product Management, or a related SaaS role.
  • Experience presenting to executive, technical, and end-user audiences with confidence and credibility.
  • Strong communication, storytelling, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to translate product capabilities into customer value and business outcomes.
  • Experience working cross-functionally across multiple teams.
  • Knowledge of RE NXT or similar enterprise SaaS platforms and customer workflows.
  • Experience driving product adoption, change management, digital transformation, or customer success initiatives.
  • Preferred: Nonprofit industry experience and familiarity with AI-powered technologies and solutions.

The starting base pay is $87,700.00 to $114,200.00. Blackbaud may pay more or less based on employee qualifications, market value, Company finances, and other operational considerations.
