We are seeking a Senior/Staff level full-stack engineer to work on building features to enable enterprise customers to use open source LLMs to solve their unique business problems.
A successful candidate should have deep knowledge of scalable AI applications and products.
This role turns prototypes built by ML engineers into reliable production features that utilize the low-level inference & tuning infrastructure. This role collects user feedback and continuously refines these production features.
This role also collaborates with distributed system software engineers to design and evolve low-level inference & tuning infrastructure.
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing usable, elegant, and robust APIs and interfaces, on top of complex AI infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement features for enterprise customers, examples include Lamini.AI Classifier and Lamini.AI Inference Playground.
- Lead product feature engineering development, leveraging Lamini.AI’s internal inference and tuning infrastructure software, and working with marketing & sales, take idea inception to production deployment.
- Design and implement intuitive and engaging LLM & GenAI interfaces, with strong emphasis on intuitive experience for customers with no prior-experience in LLM & GenAI.
- Work with Sales Engineer, Product Designer to refine the experience of existing features, and come up with new feature ideas to solve customer problems.
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience in application development and relevant software engineering disciplines.
- Proficient in Python or Node.JS
- Proficient in building application backend with RESTful APIs
- Familiar with React
- Familiar with LLM concepts or AI/ML concepts in general
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Have experience building applications/products that leverage LLMs
- Familiar with popular LLM frameworks, e.g. Langchain, Llama index, DSPy
- Have developed or created intuitive, engaging interfaces, with bonus points for ones that are fun and AI-related
