Business UnitWhat the Role Entails【Job Responsibilities

1. Take charge of the long-term technical roadmap planning, core architecture design and model research & development for the film and television AIGC business of Tencent Video, covering scenarios such as film & television video model generation and post-editing.

2. Lead the research and industrial application of cutting-edge generative models (e.g., DiT, unified understanding-generation architecture) . Build video generation and editing models with high fidelity, strong controllability and long-term temporal consistency.

3. Serve as the technical lead to drive continuous innovation of the team, define technical development directions, control project progress and delivery quality, and elevate the overall technical capability of the team.

4. Continuously track the latest advances in academia and industry (e.g., Sora, Veo, Kling, Runway). Evaluate and introduce cutting-edge technologies and methodologies to maintain the team’s technical leadership in the video generation field.

Who We Look For【Job Requirements

1. Master’s or Doctoral degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Multimedia or other related majors.

2. Over 2 years of algorithm R&D experience, with the latest 3 years deeply focused on AIGC video generation and editing.

3. Proficient in Python and skilled in deep learning frameworks including PyTorch and TensorFlow, with strong engineering implementation and code optimization capabilities.

4. Solid theoretical foundation in machine learning and deep learning, with in-depth understanding and rich hands-on experience of generative models (Diffusion Model, Flow Matching, auto-regressive model, VAE, Transformer, etc.).

5. Familiar with large-scale distributed training technologies (e.g., DeepSpeed, FSDP, Megatron-LM). Candidates with experience in training and optimization at the kilocard scale or above are preferred.

6. Have representative achievements in video generation and editing, with relevant papers published in top conferences including CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, NeurIPS, ICLR, ICML and SIGGRAPH.

The expected base pay range for this position in the location(s) listed above is $163,800.00 to $307,600.00 per year. Actual pay may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Employees hired for this position may be eligible for a sign on payment, relocation package, and restricted stock units, which will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Subject to the terms and conditions of the plans in effect, hired applicants are also eligible for medical, dental, vision, life and disability benefits, and participation in the Company’s 401(k) plan. The Employee is also eligible for up to 15 to 25 days of vacation per year (depending on the employee’s tenure), up to 13 days of holidays throughout the calendar year, and up to 10 days of paid sick leave per year. Your benefits may be adjusted to reflect your location, employment status, duration of employment with the company, and position level.
