Activities:
- Installation, integration, deployment and upgrades of applications in various Oracle BMCC environments
- Executes test scripts and post release testing to ensure a release has been successfully executed
- Works with business representatives to manage execution of acceptance test plan from a business perspective
- Drives and participates in technical support when problems occur in conjunction with application release activities
- Develops and manages the release activities for a given release which may be comprised of application code, data base, network, server, storage and other system changes
- Participates with administration of source control tools
- Participates in the development of release automation tools, testing, and process activities
- Genesys technologies
- Oracle technologies (servers, middleware, database)
- Complex deployment models that involve load balancing, redundancy, backups
- Scripting languages (examples: Linux shell, Python)
- Administration of development process tools (examples: Git, Hudson, Chef)
- System automation tools for regression and load testing
- Application and infrastructure troubleshooting
- Telephony-related projects
- Agile development and DevOps methodologies
Deliverable:
- Weekly NGCC Deployment Report (Microsoft Word format). Report will be a detailed, technical summary of the deployment accomplishments for the current week, list of outstanding action items and technical issues, and recommendations for resolving those items. Report will be delivered to Oracle via email on the last day of each work week by 5 PM Pacific Time.
