  • Educate banks on the value of participating in the Circit platform for auditors, asset managers, and regulated clients.
  • Negotiate and structure mutually beneficial commercial agreements for API connectivity, data access, and ongoing collaboration.
  • Work with partner banks to support internal business cases for the development, enhancement, or commercialisation of API capabilities.
  • Collaborate closely with Circit’s Sales team to align bank partnerships with client demand and market priorities.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering teams to communicate bank requirements, technical considerations, and regulatory constraints.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of global banking, fintech, and regulatory trends related to APIs and financial data access.
  • Represent Circit at relevant industry events, conferences, and partner meetings.
  • Support and contribute to the wider Global Bank API team as Circit scales its partner network.

Requirements

Essential:

  • 5+ years’ experience in partnership development, business development, or enterprise sales roles involving banks or financial institutions.
  • Strong background in fintech APIs, bank connectivity, or financial data platforms.
  • Experience working with API-based integration models and associated commercial structures.
  • Proven track record of negotiating and closing commercial agreements with banks or large financial institutions.
  • Understanding of treasury management, ERP systems, or adjacent financial infrastructure.
  • Demonstrated ability to take a consultative, value-led approach with senior bank stakeholders.
  • Comfortable operating autonomously in a fast-growth, evolving environment.

Desirable:

  • Experience selling technology or data solutions to banks across multiple geographies.
  • Familiarity with audit, assurance, fraud prevention, or regulated data use cases.
  • Experience working with or selling into the asset management industry, including asset managers, custodians, or fund administrators.
  • Exposure to regulatory and compliance considerations related to financial data sharing.

Key skills:

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong commercial judgement and negotiation capability.
  • Technical fluency sufficient to engage credibly with bank product, API, and engineering teams, including understanding of REST APIs, authentication models, and data access patterns, and ability to translate technical concepts into clear commercial value propositions.
  • Strategic, relationship-driven mindset with the ability to execute.
  • Self-starter with a high level of ownership and accountability.
  • Professional integrity and comfort engaging with senior stakeholders.

Benefits

This is an exciting opportunity for an all-rounder, highly motivated candidate to get involved at the ground level of a fast-growing company. We’re committed to making sure our employees are well-treated. If there’s something that’s important to you that’s not on the list, talk to us.

  • Competitive salary, with the possibility of equity;
  • A small team with a friendly environment that promotes autonomy for you to self-manage your time;
  • Remote-working and flexible working hours;
  • Great opportunity for career progression with hands on experience;
  • Freedom of expression is encouraged.
