Job Description
As a coverage banker, you will serve as the primary relationship manager for a portfolio of Hong Kong-headquartered mid-cap clients. You will join a high-energy, dynamic team dedicated to further expanding our successful corporate banking franchise. This is an additional headcount, so you will have significant opportunities to develop new client relationships within the Hong Kong mid-cap space.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Originate and manage a portfolio of 25-30 clients, acquiring and developing new client relationships while deepening existing ones.
  • Formulation of portfolio coverage strategy, segment focus, product prioritization.
  • Formulate and implement account plans for your client portfolio, working closely with product partners to execute cross-sell strategies.
  • Lead all credit-related work streams and facilitate approvals from various internal governance and control committees.
  • Conduct comprehensive client analysis to identify business needs that can be addressed with JPMorgan's broad array of corporate banking products, including financing solutions, capital markets, risk management, treasury and securities services, and asset management.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in corporate banking, with broad coverage of the Hong Kong corporate sector strongly preferred.
  • Extensive experience and in-depth knowledge of credit and funding products, structured solution, transaction banking, markets and risk management product suite and investment products.
  • Result-oriented mindset, strong energy on client acquisition and conversion.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Credit trained, with experience in structuring and executing leveraged loans in connection with M&A, IPOs, and related transactions.
  • Team player with effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluency in both English and Cantonese.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a relevant discipline.
