Who we are:

Sardine is the leading agentic risk platform for fighting financial crime. Our integrated solution unifies data across risk teams to help organizations stop fraud in real time, prevent AI-driven attacks, and automate fraud and AML operations. Sardine’s platform is strengthened by one of the fastest-growing fraud consortiums in the market, spanning more than 6 billion profiled devices, 800 million consumers, and 3 million businesses worldwide. Leading companies including FIS, GoDaddy, Intuit, Edward Jones, ZoomInfo, and Checkout.com rely on Sardine to secure and grow trust in their products.

Our culture:

  • We hire talented, self-motivated individuals with extreme ownership and high growth orientation.

  • We value performance and not hours worked. We believe you shouldn't have to miss your family dinner, your kid's school play, friends get-together, or doctor's appointments for the sake of adhering to an arbitrary work schedule.

  • We're a remote-first team spread across time zones, so no office to report to - work from wherever helps you do your best work. Just a couple of things to keep in mind: pay is based on where you're located, and you'll need to keep a home base in the country you're hired in. So while we love the "coffee shop today, mountains tomorrow" life, this isn't a passport-optional, work-from-anywhere-on-Earth kind of remote - think flexible within your country, not borderless.

Global Head of Solutions

Location: San Francisco

About the role:

As Head of Solutions at Sardine, you'll own every technical team that stands between a signed contract and a customer who's actually live and successful. Just before a contract is signed, Integration Engineering works with our customers to scope the integration and then over the next several months, gets them live onto our platform. Support engineering helps keep our clients satisfied whenever any issues arise. You'll bring these teams together under one set of standards and one bar for quality, scaling an organization that's growing fast.

This is a 20-person org spanning both technical ICs and managers. You'll work alongside strong technical leads who are ready to grow into the next level of people leadership, and you'll need to be technical enough to help guide strategic decisions, team planning, and training as you coach them there. This role is as much about developing leaders as it is about the technology itself.

What you'll be doing:

  • Own Integration and Support engineering, roughly 20 people across three functions

  • Build out the playbooks, onboarding, best practices, and SLAs that will let this organization scale smoothly as it grows

  • Coach and develop technical leads, helping them grow their teams and their own leadership range

  • Get hands-on with scoping and contract structuring where deals need real technical judgment, not just a demo

  • Partner with Sales and Account Management leadership so solutions work actively drives cross-sell, upsell, and net revenue retention

  • Partner with our POC team that includes Data Scientists to help drive POCs to a success

  • Bring deep product fluency so you can guide the team through scoping, delivery, and people challenges alike

What you'll need:

  • Experience leading large technical teams (20+) in B2B SaaS, including building out the management layer beneath you

  • Domain experience in financial services, fraud, risk, compliance, or banking

  • Deep technical and product expertise — enough to guide strategic decisions, contribute to team planning and training, and be credible on integration complexity and scoping

  • A track record of building operational rigor — playbooks, SLAs, structured processes — as organizations scale

  • Experience scaling a team through a period of rapid growth

  • Strong coaching instincts — you can take a talented, fast-rising leader and help them grow

  • Comfort leading through growth and change, joining a team that's evolving quickly

Bonus Points:

  • Experience spanning both pre-sales (sales engineering/solutions consulting) and post-sales (implementation/professional services) motions

  • Familiarity with fintech more broadly, even outside fraud/compliance specifically

Benefits we offer:

  • Generous compensation in cash and equity

  • Early exercise for all options, including pre-vested

  • Work from anywhere: Remote-first Culture

  • Flexible paid time off and Year-end break

  • Health insurance, dental, and vision coverage for employees and dependents - US and Canada specific

  • 4% matching in 401k / RRSP - US and Canada specific

  • MacBook Pro delivered to your door

  • One-time stipend to set up a home office — desk, chair, screen, etc.

  • Monthly meal stipend

  • Monthly social meet-up stipend

  • Annual health and wellness stipend

  • Annual Learning stipend
