About Nymbus

Nymbus is a high-growth fintech company, ‘Built to Move,’ empowering banks and financial institutions to transform faster, compete smarter, and deliver greater value in today’s digital marketplace. At Nymbus, we’re revolutionizing banking technology. Our award-winning modern core platform and cloud-based solutions help financial institutions modernize, scale, and succeed. As part of our team, you won’t just be part of a tech revolution; you’ll be at the forefront of it, driving innovation and delivering exceptional client experiences.

Nymbus is building the next generation of fintech platforms, and that takes people who are ready to challenge convention, move with purpose, and reimagine what’s possible. We operate with an AI-first mindset across our business, continuously improving how we work, and the value we deliver to our clients.

We want our partners to be thrilled about the possibilities we are creating together and the lasting impact our collaboration will bring to the industry and consumers. The journey to growth begins with doing something different. And that journey starts with the great people who make Nymbus.

We challenge the status quo, question assumptions, and work together to turn bold ideas into meaningful progress.

The Opportunity

As a key member of the People and Culture team, we're hiring a Head of Talent Acquisition to build an AI-forward, tech-centered recruiting function from the ground up. This is an individual-contributor, Director-level role for someone who wants full ownership: the tech stack, the metrics, the brand, and the candidate experience, without layers of process slowing them down.

You'll work directly with senior leaders across Nymbus to meet hiring needs in real time, bringing a technical recruiting background and a genuinely AI-native approach to how modern talent acquisition should run.

As a core member of our People team, you will work both independently and collaboratively with cross-functional partners, across all levels and all departments. Heavy focus on tech recruitment in data engineering, product, and other internal client stakeholders- to deliver a scalable, well-documented, and effective Talent Management strategy.

This is a build role, not a maintenance role. You'll shape what talent acquisition looks like at Nymbus for the next era of hiring and growth— with direct executive visibility, real ownership of the tech stack and brand, and an opportunity to design where the bar should be rather than inherit one.

What You Will Own

  • Serve as clients' dedicated technical point of contact for all things related to our Talent Acquisition house.
  • Full ownership of applicant tracking system (Greenhouse) and the full recruitment technology stack —evaluation, selection, and ongoing management.
  • Video interview platform and AI-powered assessment tools.
  • AI TA dashboard, hiring metrics, and reporting — end to end. Build, manage, and maintain.
  • Vendor and contractor management across the recruiting tech and services stack.
  • Candidate experience, designed to extend seamlessly into the broader employee experience.
  • External employer brand representation in close partnership with Marketing and Brand, and submissions for industry awards in Tech, FinTech, and SaaS.
  • Full-cycle recruiting partnership with senior leaders across the business, with a focus on technical and specialized roles.
  • World-class TA experience benchmarked against modern recruiting standards.
  • Key player in the Employee Value Proposition design.
  • Provide expert guidance and solutions on industry best practices, and industry standards to both the People and Culture team, and internal Nymbus stakeholders.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Stakeholder Engagement & Translation

  • Partner with key stakeholders to understand their business and hiring needs.
  • Guide, coach, mentor and support leaders through the complexities of the hiring and candidate selection process. Provide frameworks to identify right fit, both technical and cultural for Nymbus.
  • Communicate often and regularly to both internal stakeholders and candidates alike.

Documentation & Continuous Improvement

  • Full review, ownership, and mapping of the entire candidate experience.
  • Review, maintain and design the AI Talent Acquisition Dashboard.
  • Provide frameworks for identifying fit.
  • Continuous improvement of the candidate experience.

Key Areas of Experience

  • Experience with dashboard management and Executive Leadership team support.
  • Vendor and contractor management experience.
  • A bias for speed and ownership — comfortable building process, not just following it.
  • Strong judgment on when to move fast and when to slow down for quality.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
  • Ability to work independently while driving cross-functional collaboration.

Critical Competencies

  • Employee Focus: As a key critical role establishing the future of talent at Nymbus, this role is a key leader on our People and Culture team, as well as across the business who embodies our human centered, AI-powered philosophy and approach.
  • Dealing with Ambiguity: Life can change. Business needs can change. Effectively able to navigate changing requirements and shifting priorities; can decide and act without having the total picture; comfortable investigating data anomalies and open questions without a clearly defined path to the answer.
  • Interpersonal Savvy: Relates well to all kinds of people, both technical and non-technical, inside and outside the organization; builds appropriate rapport and constructive relationships; uses diplomacy and tact when navigating support for candidates and hiring managers alike.

What You Will Bring

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition, including significant experience (3+ years) owning the Talent Management Strategy.
  • Prior experience owning TA tech stack tools (AI driven).
  • Strong background (5+ years) in technical, SaaS, fast-growing organizations or start-ups.
  • Proven experience working with technologies, processes, and systems across a TA landscape.
  • Global recruitment experience.
  • Technical fluency required for Engineering/Product roles.
  • AI-native fluency — hands-on experience with AI recruiting tools and AI-driven dashboards required.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Base salary range: $130,000 to $145,000 annually.
  • Annual bonus and equity eligibility, if applicable.

  • Additional paid volunteer day.

  • Growth and development programs.

Actual compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, skills, role scope, and location.
