The opportunity
Join our dynamic Procurement team as a Senior Manager, Strategic Sourcing & Category Management, where you will be instrumental in defining the future of our third-party spend and maximizing value across the organization. This isn't just a buying role—it's a chance to act as a strategic business partner to our executive teams, leveraging your expertise to build resilient, innovative, and cost-effective supply chains.

You will have a direct and measurable impact on our bottom line and play a key role in driving enterprise-wide initiatives. We are an agile, data-driven team focused on professional development and utilizing cutting-edge procurement technology.

What you'll be doing

  • Develop and Execute Category Strategies: Define and lead the execution of comprehensive multi-year strategic category plans that drive competitive advantage, innovation, and TCO reduction.
  • Lead Complex Strategic Sourcing: Manage the full end-to-end strategic sourcing lifecycle for high-value spend, including robust market analysis, RFP development, and supplier selection.
  • Negotiate High-Value Contracts: Expertly lead and conclude complex commercial and legal negotiations to secure optimal pricing, favorable contract terms, and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Drive Value through SRM: Establish and cultivate strategic supplier relationships that focus on continuous improvement, joint innovation, and enhanced performance across the supply base.
  • Mitigate Supply Chain Risk: Proactively identify, assess, and manage supply chain and contractual risks, implementing strategies for business continuity and resilience.

What we're looking for

  • Strategic Sourcing Expertise: Demonstrated mastery of the 7-step strategic sourcing process and deep experience with Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) modeling.
  • Advanced Negotiation Skills: Proven track record of leading complex, multi-million dollar commercial negotiations with a focus on value creation, not just cost-cutting.
  • Spend Analysis Proficiency: Exceptional ability to conduct sophisticated spend analysis, cost modeling, and financial data interpretation to identify high-impact opportunities.
  • Cross-Functional Alignment: Documented experience gaining buy-in and driving consensus on category strategies among diverse and senior-level internal stakeholders.
  • Contract Management Acumen: Expert knowledge of contract law and the ability to draft, interpret, and manage legal agreements, terms, and conditions (e.g., MSA, SOW).

You might also have

  • Experience implementing AI in Strategic Sourcing, Procurement and Contract Management
  • Experience utilizing leading Procurement Orchestration, Procure-to-Pay (P2P) technologies, ERP systems (e.g. Workday).
  • Certification such as Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM), or similar global qualification.
