As Global Tax and Accounting Manager, you’ll help power one of the fastest‑scaling robotics companies in the world. This is a high‑impact, highly visible role where your expertise directly influences global growth, strategic decisions, and how cutting‑edge technology scales across borders. Responsibilities

  • Lead and own global tax strategy, compliance, and advisory activities, serving as the central tax authority supporting international operations, growth initiatives, and executive decision‑making.
  • Direct global tax compliance efforts to ensure accurate and timely filing of U.S. federal, state, and international tax returns.
  • Service as the primary point of contact for and directly manage third-party tax consultants and regulatory advisors, including CBIZ, HSP, CT Corporation and various international Crowe member firms.
  • Oversee the preparation, review and filing of sales and use tax and VAT/GST returns in applicable jurisdictions.
  • Coordinate and maintain tax and regulatory documentation related to international expansion, including entity registrations and ongoing compliance requirements. Assess and monitor permanent establishment exposure as the Company enters new or expands its presence in jurisdictions.
  • Establish, analyze and monitor transfer pricing policies in collaboration with external advisors; calculate and record intercompany pricing adjustments, as required.
  • Contribute to tax planning initiatives and implement tax‑efficient strategies that support overall corporate and operational objectives.
  • Provide tax-related guidance to leadership on business initiatives, international growth and structural changes.
  • Oversee the preparation of the global income tax provision and lead walkthroughs of tax workpapers and supporting schedules with external auditors.
  • Support tax audits, tax controversy matters and risk assessments.
  • Collaborate and assist with special projects and ad hoc analyses related to tax and global accounting matters.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Tax or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in U.S. federal and international income tax with a multinational organization and/or public accounting firm.
  • 3+ years of experience managing external advisors or direct reports.
  • Demonstrated experience managing cross-border and cross-functional tax matters.
  • Experience with tax and financial systems such as Avalara, NetSuite, Salesforce or similar platforms.
  • Advance proficiency in Microsoft Office or AI applications, with the ability to extract and analyze data from accounting systems.
  • Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Self-directed and proactive, with the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage diverse audiences effectively.

The expected base salary range for this role is $125K to $175K annually, based on external market data, plus bonus and equity. Actual offers will depend on factors such as the candidate’s experience, education, training, key or critical skills, geographic location, and current market and business conditions.
