Google Analytics (GA4/GTM) Solutions Architect

 

How you will LEAD:

We seek an experienced Architect that will serve as a pivotal technical liaison, crafting bespoke solutions that address our clients' unique challenges. You will leverage knowledge of GA4, GTM, Google Analytics and the GCP product domain to deliver complex and sophisticated analytical solutions.

 

Solution Design:

                     Design robust GA4 & GTM solutions and implementations tailored to UMG client business objectives and fan behaviour tracking.

                     Collaborate closely with Marketing, IT, Paid Media, eCommerce and Data teams to define tracking requirements.

                     Lead the design and implementation across cross-platform tracking including eCommerce, campaign, third-party social and consent management tools. 

                     Implementation Leadership:

                     Oversee the technical vision and configuration, deployment, and management of Google Tag Manager (GTM) and GA4 data collection using knowledge of the Google Analytics and GCP product domain.

                     Lead the integration and configuration of data collection strategies ensuring accurate tracking of customer interactions across multiple digital touchpoints.

                     Provide expert guidance on efficient and scalable tag implementation.

                     Data Integration and Activation

                     Integrate Google Tag Manager (GTM) with other web digital products (e.g., Wordpress, CDP, Shopify), third-party platforms, and CRM systems.

                     Performance Optimization:

                     Audit and assess existing implementations to identify and resolve data gaps or inefficiencies.

                     Tailor recommendations and solutions to enhance decision-making capabilities and provide actionable insights for business stakeholders.

                     Training and Enablement:

                     Provide hands-on training, mentorship, and workshops to stakeholder teams on GA4/GTM best practices.

                     Develop and deliver comprehensive documentation to support the adoption and effective use of Google Analytics platforms across teams.

 

Required Skills & Experience

 

                     A Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

                     Over 7 years of experience in technology solutions, data analytics, or a related field.

Google Expertise:

                     5+ years of hands-on experience with Google Analytics (GA4, GTM, Google Ads, Search Console and GCP products).

                     Deep expertise in tagging methodologies, pixel management and event-based tracking.

Technical Skills:

                     Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS for custom tracking and tagging implementations. 

Problem-Solving:

                     Proven track record of troubleshooting and resolving data discrepancies, optimizing data flows, and implementing scalable solutions to improve analytics infrastructure.

Soft Skills:

                     Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

                     Strong organizational and project management skills, capable of managing multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously.

 

Preferred Qualifications

                     Google certifications (Google Developer Certification).

                     Knowledge of data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and their impact on analytics and customer journey tracking.

                     Music or entertainment industry experience
