SUMMARY
Through its overseas affiliates, IMC provides liquidity and trades on many cryptocurrency exchanges and DeFi protocols. To support our expanding trading operations, we are seeking a Graduate Risk Analyst (specialized in digital assets) to join our company. This role is ideally suited for a detail-oriented individual who can work independently and efficiently manage and further develop our digital risk management framework. It presents ample opportunities for personal growth and ownership, as the candidate will have the chance to contribute to scaling up, refining, and improving our risk management processes.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
As a Graduate Risk Analyst at IMC, you will
  • Identify and manage market, credit and operational risks in IMC's existing and new activities in digital asset markets.
  • Maintain and develop our risk management tools to monitor and take measures to mitigate market and credit risk exposures.
  • Contribute to operational risk management by designing, testing, and implementing key controls to strengthen our risk framework.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to manage, control and optimize these risks.
  • Analyze digital assets market developments and help build, revise, and enhance risk methodologies and processes for IMC's activities in these markets.
  • Perform risk control self-assessments through analyzing potential impact and likelihood of risk events.
  • Collaborate closely with the Trading, Finance and Compliance teams on a daily basis.
  • Undertake a comprehensive onboarding program, including personalized training opportunities and the support of your very own mentor.

WHAT DO WE LOOK FOR?
  • Strong academic background in a quantitative field (such as Statistics, Physics or Financial Mathematics).
  • A genuine interest and understanding of the digital asset market structure (for example Custodians, Exchanges, Defi)
  • A team player - at IMC, we're all in it together.
  • Experience with a programming language (such as Python, MATLAB, or R).
  • Recent graduates with up to two years of relevant work experience, preferably with a demonstrable interest in the world of digital asset and financial markets.
  • Willingness to work primarily on-site at our vibrant Zug office. Please note that this role offers only limited opportunities for remote work.
  • Preferred start date: immediate or by January 2026 at the latest.
