About Wispr

Wispr Flow is making it as effortless to interact with your devices as talking to a close friend. Voice is the most natural, powerful way to communicate — and we’re building the interfaces to make that a reality.

Today, Wispr Flow is the first voice dictation platform people use more than their keyboards — because it understands you perfectly on the first try. It’s context-aware, personalized, and works anywhere you can type, on desktop or phone.

Dictation is just our first act. We’re building the interaction layer for your computer — a system that’s capable, understands you, and earns your trust. It will start by writing for you, then move to taking actions, and ultimately anticipate your needs before you ask.

We’re a team of AI researchers, designers, growth experts, and engineers rethinking human-computer interaction from the ground up. We value high-agency teammates who communicate openly, obsess over users, and sweat the details. We thrive on spirited debate, truth-seeking, and real-world impact.

This year, we've grown our revenue 50% month-over-month and with our latest $30M Series A, this is just the beginning.

Job summary

Wispr Flow is looking for a Graphic Designer to join our marketing team and work directly under the Head of Design. This role is focused on high-quality, rapid execution across paid media, web, email, and social, with a strong emphasis on speed, clarity, and visual consistency.

You will primarily design and scale paid ad creative and web and landing pages, while also supporting email and social media design. The role requires strong execution skills, good creative instincts, and the ability to concept animated ad ideas through storyboarding and clear handoff to an in-house animator.

This is an ideal role for a highly talented, early-career designer who thrives in fast-moving startup environments, takes initiative naturally, and can deliver polished work without heavy structure or prolonged iteration cycles. This is a marketing-focused graphic design role, not a product or UI/UX design position.

What you will do

  • Design web pages and marketing landing pages in collaboration with developers, ensuring designs are clear, feasible, ready for implementation, and optimized for conversion.

  • Design and scale paid advertising creative across multiple channels, including static ads and concepts for animated ads, with an understanding of performance and conversion-driven design.

  • Concept and storyboard animated ad ideas, clearly communicating narrative, pacing, and visual intent for handoff to an in-house animator.

  • Design email marketing assets with a focus on clarity, hierarchy, and conversion, including thoughtful handoff to developers and marketing tools.

  • Create social media design assets that align with campaign goals and brand standards.

  • Execute a high volume of design work with speed while maintaining a high bar for craft and polish.

  • Take ownership of projects from brief to delivery, often running with minimal direction.

  • Collaborate closely with the Head of Design to evolve and refine the Wispr Flow brand as it continues to mature.

  • Apply existing brand foundations consistently while helping extend the system through real-world use.

  • Work cross-functionally with marketing managers, growth and paid media teams, developers, and animation partners to deliver effective creative.

  • Adapt designs thoughtfully across formats and channels without sacrificing clarity or quality.

  • Iterate quickly based on feedback from designers and non-designers alike, without ego or friction.

What success looks like in this role

  • You can take a brief and run with it, delivering strong work without needing extensive concepting phases and iterating quickly as needed.

  • You consistently produce fast, polished work across paid ads, web, email, and social, balancing speed with quality.

  • You iterate rapidly, experiment thoughtfully, and refine work based on feedback and performance signals.

  • You take initiative and actively look for ways to help once your work is complete.

  • You collaborate smoothly with developers, marketers, and animators to move work forward.

  • You are comfortable working in a startup environment where processes are still evolving.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in graphic design, in marketing or digital-first environments.

  • Strong foundation in layout, typography, visual hierarchy, and design fundamentals.

  • Experience designing for paid media, web, email, and social platforms.

  • Ability to concept and storyboard animated ad ideas, even if you are not animating yourself.

  • Experience working with developers and preparing designs for handoff.

  • Comfortable managing multiple projects and delivering at high speed without sacrificing quality.

  • Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working with minimal structure.

  • Able to receive feedback from non-designers and implement changes efficiently.

  • Proficient in Figma, Adobe Illustrator, and Photoshop.

  • Familiarity with emerging Gen AI creative tools and workflows, with curiosity around how they can support speed, iteration, and experimentation.

  • Clear and thoughtful communicator, both visually and verbally.

Nice to have

  • Light illustration or accent illustration skills.

  • Familiarity working alongside animators or motion designers.

  • Experience designing paid ad or acquisition-focused creative, with an understanding of how design choices can impact performance.

Tools we use

  • Figma for design and prototyping

  • Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop for illustration and photo editing

  • Notion for documentation and project tracking

  • FigJam for brainstorming and collaboration
