Graphic DesignerPosition Overview

We are seeking a Graphic Designer to lead the conceptualization and creation of all visual assets for VeraData Holdings—the parent organization uniting VeraData, Faircom New York, and Teal Media. United under the discipline of Donor Science™, the enterprise equips nonprofits with the data, insights, creative, and production services they need to acquire donors, amplify giving, and achieve sustainable growth.

This role will ensure a consistent, professional, and compelling brand identity across all marketing channels, supporting lead generation, business development, thought leadership, and enterprise visibility. Working closely with the VP of Marketing and Head of Content, the Graphic Designer will translate strategic messaging into visually engaging materials that position the VeraData Group as the premier partner for nonprofit fundraising and marketing success.

Key ResponsibilitiesMarketing Collateral Design
  • Design and produce marketing materials including brochures, whitepapers, case studies, sales presentations, and thought leadership reports.
  • Create visual assets that showcase the enterprise strengths of VeraData, Faircom New York, and Teal Media and communicate the value of Donor Science | Creative Science | Media Science.
Digital & Social Media Assets
  • Develop graphics for digital channels including social media posts, website banners, email templates, and campaign assets targeting nonprofit decision-makers.
  • Ensure all digital assets are optimized for platform requirements and aligned with brand standards.
Brand Development & Standards
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive library of brand assets and style guides for VeraData Holdings and its business units.
  • Ensure visual consistency across all touchpoints, from marketing materials to client-facing presentations.
Proposal & RFP Support
  • Design and layout RFP responses and proposals to enhance visual appeal, readability, and persuasiveness.
  • Create compelling PowerPoint decks and pitch materials that bring our capabilities and case studies to life visually.
  • Read through proposal content to identify opportunities to visualize data, processes, timelines, and strategic frameworks through infographics, diagrams, and custom illustrations.
  • Develop creative visual approaches that differentiate our proposals from competitors and make complex fundraising strategies accessible and memorable for nonprofit decision-makers.
  • Collaborate with business development and content teams to ensure proposals are not only compliant but visually distinctive and strategically positioned to win; work iteratively as content develops in sections, managing continuous updates and revisions through tight deadlines.
  • Design reusable proposal templates and modular visual assets that maintain brand consistency while allowing for client-specific customization.

Collaboration & Project Management
  • Partner with the VP of Marketing, Head of Content, and business unit leaders to translate strategic priorities into effective visual communications.
  • Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, balancing strategic initiatives with time-sensitive requests.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in graphic design, ideally within agency, nonprofit, or mission-driven sectors.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in marketing collateral, brand identity systems, digital assets, and proposal/presentation design.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and familiarity with design tools such as Figma or Canva.
  • Experience developing and maintaining brand standards and asset libraries.
  • Understanding of design principles for both print and digital channels, including accessibility and user experience considerations.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with proven ability to work with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong project management capabilities.
  • Familiarity with nonprofit sector visual communications preferred but not required.
  • Experience with WordPress for creating and updating web graphics, banners, and visual content.
  • AI fluency, including using AI tools to enhance design workflow, creating AI-generated graphics and imagery, prompt engineering for visual content, and general comfort with AI-assisted design tools.
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design principles for digital content.
