Position Summary

The Graphics Coordinator, Creative is a entry level role that works under the direction of the Creative Director and with the other Graphics Specialists on the team to design and format various Firm presentations and branded materials.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Typical responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Designing and formatting high-end presentations and graphics in PowerPoint.

  • Designing and formatting firm-branded marketing and communications collateral in Word and InDesign, including creating, editing and formatting layouts, charts, graphics, icons, and other visuals.

  • Retouching and uploading directory photos.

  • Sourcing and recreating logos in Illustrator.

  • Creating LinkedIn graphics.

  • Providing other graphic support as it relates to pitches, presentations, and trial graphics.

  • Creating and formatting Marketing and Event graphics, such as invites, flyers, signage, stationary, and agendas, as well as sourcing appropriate premium imagery as necessary.

  • Formatting and editing print collateral including brochures, placemats, newsletters and ads.

  • Sourcing and creating promotional and branded items.

  • Working independently, managing projects throughout the project life cycle, liaising with client/key stakeholders, the Creative team and vendors.

  • Collaborating with various internal and external clients including team members, lawyers, business services professionals, and third-party vendors.

  • Evaluating client requests, managing deadlines, and recommending most effective creative solutions within brand guidelines.

Qualifications/Position Requirements

  • Excellent understanding of brand and design principles.

  • Excellent client services, communication, and negotiation skills.

  • Excellent organizational skills, being able to take initiative, work independently, multi-task, and prioritize projects and develop creative solutions in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently, with a keen eye for detail to ensure work is error-free and of the highest quality under tight deadlines.

  • Ability to work collaboratively as a team player, supporting others on the Creative team as needed.

  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office suite a plus, with a focus on developing custom, on-brand graphics, icons and animations in PowerPoint, and document formatting in Word.

  • Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign).

  • Practical knowledge of setting up press files for digital and offset print production.

  • Required electronic portfolio or website link with application.

Education and/or Experience

  • 1-3 years’ experience on an in-house or corporate graphics support team (professional or financial services preferred). Motion graphics experience a plus.

  • Bachelor’s degree

Compensation

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $70,000 - $80,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. Davis Polk offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.
