C1.ai is the universal control plane that powers the agentic enterprise.

Every organization runs on hundreds of systems that need to answer the same basic question: who can do what, when, and why?

We're building something foundational: a horizontal control plane that lets both humans and AI agents plug in to navigate the AI-enabled enterprise, to understand who and what has access, and manage it safely as agents take on more of the work. SaaS apps, infrastructure, internal tools, AI agents…if it has a concept of 'who,' it should connect to us.

While we are still small in number, we move fast. If you want to help build this from the ground up, you'll have real ownership here.

The Role

We're looking for a Group Product Manager to help define the future of identity security. You'll own significant areas of the product, working closely with Engineering, Design, Customer Success, Sales, and our customers to identify problems worth solving and deliver solutions that create measurable customer value.

This is a high-ownership role. You'll drive products from discovery through launch and iteration, balancing customer needs, technical complexity, and business priorities. You'll spend as much time talking to customers as you do working with engineers, ensuring we're building the right things and shipping them quickly.

AI is fundamentally changing how software is built and how identity is managed. We're looking for a product manager who natively uses AI to improve product discovery, customer research, roadmap planning, and execution, while also helping define how AI becomes a core part of our platform.

What You'll Do
  • Own product strategy: Define vision, strategy, and roadmaps for key areas of the platform, ensuring investments align with customer needs and company priorities.

  • Drive product execution: Partner closely with Engineering and Design to take products from concept to launch, making thoughtful tradeoffs while maintaining a high quality bar.

  • Talk to customers constantly: Build deep customer empathy through interviews, support conversations, design partnerships, and product usage analysis to identify opportunities with meaningful business impact.

  • Define success: Establish clear product goals and success metrics, measure outcomes, and continuously iterate based on customer feedback and data.

  • Lead cross-functional alignment: Bring together Engineering, Design, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and executive leadership around product direction and execution.

  • Build with AI: Leverage AI throughout the product development lifecycle—from customer research and competitive analysis to specification writing and roadmap planning—and help shape AI-powered capabilities within our product.

  • Raise the bar: Continuously improve how Product works by refining planning processes, product quality, customer feedback loops, and execution speed.

What We Look ForYou Likely Have
  • Experience taking a product from 0 to GA in a category without an established playbook where you've had to define the problem space yourself, not just execute against one someone else scoped.

  • 7+ years of Product Management experience shipping successful B2B SaaS products.

  • Experience using AI tools as part of your daily product workflow, with enthusiasm for applying AI to both product development and customer experiences.

  • Exceptional customer empathy and a passion for understanding workflows, pain points, and opportunities.

  • Excellent analytical skills and comfort using quantitative and qualitative data to guide decisions.

  • A highly collaborative working style—you enjoy partnering with Engineering and Design to solve difficult problems together.

  • High agency and comfort operating in ambiguous, fast-moving startup environments.

You Might Also Have
  • Experience in identity, security, infrastructure, developer tools, or IT admin products.

  • Experience working closely with enterprise customers and translating complex requirements into elegant product experiences.

  • Experience leading products through periods of rapid company growth.
