About Cro Metrics

At Cro Metrics, we’re on a mission to redefine growth for organizations and brands through unparalleled digital experiences that inspire action and deliver results. With transformative experimentation as our guide, we bridge bold ideas with practical solutions to create lasting impact.

We are a growth optimization agency that partners with mission-driven and high-growth companies to scale through data-driven experimentation. Our expertise spans A/B testing, personalization, paid media, and full-funnel digital strategy—empowering clients to make smarter decisions that drive measurable results.

Our fully remote team of strategists, analysts, engineers, and designers works across industries including eCommerce, fintech, nonprofit, and hospitality. We believe in autonomy, collaboration, and innovation as we help our clients grow smarter and faster.

About the Role

As the Growth Associate - Paid Media, you'll be an essential member of our client strategy team, supporting Growth Strategists and Paid Media experts in executing digital marketing programs that drive measurable business results.

This role is for someone with real hands-on paid media chops who's ready to sharpen their craft, take on more ownership, and grow into a client-facing strategist. You'll manage campaign execution, analysis, and reporting across multiple clients and industries — learning how data and testing sharpen ad performance and influence outcomes across the customer journey.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who's analytically sharp, self-driven, and excited to learn how paid media and experimentation work together to power smarter marketing decisions.

What You'll Do
  • Own day-to-day campaign setup, optimization, and performance tracking across Google Ads, Meta, and programmatic (The Trade Desk) platforms.
  • Assist in the creation and documentation of paid media testing strategies and hypotheses.
  • Collaborate on weekly client check-ins and contribute to performance reviews and reporting.
  • Conduct campaign audits and compile insights to inform strategy adjustments.
  • Analyze paid performance data and experiment outcomes to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Help prepare and deliver client-facing presentation materials, dashboards, and quarterly business reviews.
  • Partner with internal teams (design, analytics, and engineering) to align ad creative, landing pages, and audience targeting.
  • Support the development of cross-channel recommendations that connect paid media learnings with broader growth strategies (e.g., email, CRO, lifecycle).
  • Use AI tools to speed up reporting and data analysis, bulk ad uploads, and competitor research.
  • Stay current on platform updates, digital trends, and best practices across paid search, social, and programmatic.
What We're Looking For
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience managing paid media campaigns across agency and client-side environments.
  • Working proficiency in at least two of these three core channels: Google Ads, Meta Ads, and The Trade Desk (programmatic) — bonus points for all three.
  • Experience managing budgets, with at least one client or account with $50k+/month in ad spend.
  • Agency experience strongly preferred. You are comfortable juggling multiple clients and ramping quickly on new accounts.
  • AI-forward. You actively use AI tools in your workflow (reporting, analysis, creative, research) and can speak to how.
  • Strong analytical skills and sharp attention to detail in campaign management and reporting.
  • Confident, clear communicator. You’re able to present insights and recommendations to clients, not just teammates.
  • Self-starter with real drive. You are proactive, high-energy, and comfortable managing multiple client priorities without heavy oversight.
  • Curious about how data, creative, and customer behavior intersect to drive business outcomes.
  • Collaborative team player with a genuine desire to grow into a client-facing strategist role.

AI is a hard requirement, not a preference. This role requires active, demonstrated use of AI tools in your daily workflow — and goes further. You'll be expected to build and manage brand-specific AI agents that the team can use at scale. You'll be asked to show concrete AI-integrated workflows and agent-building experience during the interview process. Candidates who cannot demonstrate practical AI tool use and agent creation will not advance.

Bonus Points:

  • Hands-on experience with A/B testing or CRO.
  • Exposure to web analytics tools.
  • Interest in lifecycle marketing, email, or automation.
What Motivates You
  • You're excited by the challenge of helping clients grow through data and experimentation.
  • You enjoy turning performance data into clear insights and actionable recommendations.
  • You're curious about the "why" behind ad performance and customer behavior.
  • You love collaborating with smart, creative teammates in a fast-paced, fully remote environment.
  • You want to build your career in growth marketing and evolve into a client-facing strategist role.
Compensation

The salary range for this role is $60,000–$80,000 USD annually. Actual pay will be determined based on factors such as experience, skills, and qualifications, and may vary within this range. This role may also be eligible for benefits, which will be discussed during the interview process.
