About us

Corner Health is rebuilding primary care by helping Nurse Practitioners (NPs) start and scale their own independent practices. Our AI-native operating system handles everything from billing and insurance to patient communication and clinical workflows, giving providers more time to do what matters most: care for patients.

In the past year, we’ve become the fastest-growing primary care network in Arizona and Washington, supporting more than 70 provider-owned practices and over 35,000 patient visits.

Corner Health was founded by Lava Sunder and Anne Gifford and has raised $32.5M from Oak HC/FT, First Round Capital, Zigg Capital, and the founders of DoorDash, Commure, Grow Therapy, Kindred, Culdesac, and more.

At Corner Health, we’re building something fundamentally different: a network of hyper-local, independent, in-person primary care practices powered by modern technology. This is a completely new model of care. Today, 88% of patients prefer a provider powered by Corner Health vs. elsewhere, and patients return at 2× the national average - not because of marketing, but because the experience actually works.

That foundation creates a unique opportunity.  Every day nurse practitioners reach out to us, dreaming of owning their own practice, and it's our job to help them see how to get there.

As a Growth Associate you will be on the phone with prospective providers all day, every day, guiding nurse practitioners from their very first conversation with Corner Health to a signed partnership agreement to launch their own practice.

What You'll Work On

  • Own net-new provider acquisition: You'll be the first voice an NP hears when they consider going independent, and you'll walk with them until they sign.
  • Run a high volume of calls daily with NPs at every stage, from early curiosity to ready-to-launch.
  • Understand each NP's vision for their dream practice: their why, their goals, their fears about going out on their own, and speak directly to it.
  • Clearly explain the Corner Health model (EHR, billing, credentialing, marketing, and back office) and why it removes the risk of starting solo.
  • Manage a full pipeline of prospective providers, tracking stage, next steps, and follow-up cadence in the CRM.
  • Handle objections with empathy and confidence, whether it's fear of financial risk, uncertainty about running a business, or comparison to other options.
  • Partner with the Provider Growth team to refine scripts, messaging, and outreach based on what's actually converting

What You're Like

  • You're a natural on the phone. You can talk to 20+ providers a day and make every one of them feel heard.
  • You're empathetic and emotionally intelligent, able to speak to the hopes and fears of someone considering leaving a stable job to build something of their own.
  • You're resilient. You don't take "not right now" personally, and you follow up anyway.
  • You're a natural project manager who can track a large pipeline of prospects at different stages without dropping details.
  • You're comfortable with technology and quick to learn new systems (CRMs, dialers, scheduling tools).
  • You thrive in fast-moving, early-stage environments where processes are still being built.
  • You thrive on a team and are naturally collaborative.
  • You enjoy working in-person (our office is in Santa Monica, CA); you either live in LA or are excited to move to LA.

What would set you apart

  • You have 1-3 years of experience in sales, business development, or high-volume phone-based roles, ideally in a high-slope environment (early-stage startup, or similarly high-performing environment).
  • You're thrilled by the idea of creating more independent medical providers.
  • You've sold to clinicians, small business owners, or other entrepreneurial professionals before.
  • You have experience with CRMs (Attio, Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar) and know how to keep a pipeline clean.
  • You care deeply about building something patients and providers actually trust.
  • You have familiarity with healthcare, NP/PA licensure, or practice ownership.
  •

Benefits

  • Competitive salary & equity compensation
  • Top-tier health and dental
  • Health & wellness stipend
  • Eligible to participate in company-sponsored 401(k) plan

What we're like

You’re joining an early-stage company - it’s important to learn more about what we’re like!

We're a small team with high ownership and high autonomy. We are motivated by the providers we get to know, and the patient lives we impact.

We love celebrating when one of our providers hits a patient growth milestone, when we see a stellar review written by a patient who finally feels listened to, or when we ship a quick feature request that a provider has (our fastest time from request → live was 12 minutes!)

We use best-in-class tools to move fast and punch above our weight, and the work we do has a direct, tangible impact on people's health and lives, and we feel that every day.

Lastly - one of our team values is "Life is short - it's OK to laugh".  Whether it's late-night team dinners, mini golf, or just jamming on new ideas for our providers - we work hard and have fun doing it.

Corner Health is proud to be an equal opportunity employer and considers all qualified applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, national origin, disability, veteran status or any other legally protected characteristic. We also consider for employment all qualified applicants regardless of criminal histories, consistent with applicable law.
