Who We Are

Serval is the AI platform for IT teams — replacing legacy systems like ServiceNow with automation that frees people to focus on meaningful work. Founded in early 2024, Serval is already trusted by innovative companies such as Notion, Perplexity, Vercel, Mercor, Langchain, and Verkada to automate more than 50% of their IT tickets.

Serval "automates the automation," using a natural language-to-code workflow builder and AI agents that discover and deliver automations for tedious IT workflows. What started as IT automation has expanded into a horizontal automation engine adopted by HR, Finance, Legal, Security, and Engineering teams.

Our mission is to free IT departments from the #helpdesk channel by creating the simplest way to automate employee onboarding/offboarding, software access management, and the long tail of employee requests. Long term, our vision is to develop a universal workflow automation and enterprise service management platform for all business functions.

We're backed by industry-leading investors, including Sequoia Capital, Redpoint Ventures, Meritech, First Round, General Catalyst, and others, and founded by product and engineering leaders from Verkada.

Role Overview

Key drivers of Serval’s success are its inbound and account warming motions. As a Growth associate, you’ll own these strategies - running ad campaigns, launching experiments, and continuously improving the channels that grow demand. You’ll partner closely with the Head of Growth and the broader marketing team, owning the strategy, channels, and workflows that turn demand into customers and directly impact pipeline and revenue.

Who You Are
  • Curious and analytical, interested in understanding what works, what doesn’t, and why.

  • A problem-solver, able to break down ambiguous challenges and come up with creative solutions.

  • Technically inclined, comfortable using tools to automate repetitive work and improve how systems run.

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, able to manage multiple workstreams without losing sight of what matters.

  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment, taking direction, applying feedback, and improving quickly.

  • Motivated by progress and learning, with a desire to grow your skills and increasingly take on more ownership.

What You'll Do
  • Optimize existing growth campaigns across core channels including LinkedIn, Google SEM, email, and CTV.

  • Expand Serval’s presence in new channels including YouTube, X/Twitter, Meta, direct mail, and other direct-response channels.

  • Launch experiments to improve conversion rates, efficiency, and overall inbound performance.

  • Analyze performance data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.

  • Partner cross-functionally with Product Marketing, Design, Content, and RevOps to ship work that supports broader growth goals.

  • Maintain strong operational hygiene across tools, workflows, and reporting so nothing critical slips.

What You'll Need
  • 2+ years of experience in growth, performance marketing, or a similar role. OR 3+ years in a fast-paced, data-driven environment such as consulting, product, investment banking, or bizops. Experience in B2B SaaS or high-growth startups is a plus.

  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to turn quantitative data and qualitative signals into clear, actionable insights.

  • Strong organizational and cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams at once.

  • A creative, problem-solving mindset, able to break down ambiguous problems into concrete, solvable pieces.

  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, with an instinct for effective messaging and an ability to understand what resonates with customers.

  • A high level of ownership and initiative, proactively digging into performance to identify issues and opportunities without waiting for direction.

Nice to Have
  • Hands-on experience with tools like HubSpot, Salesforce, paid ad platforms, or Clay.

What We Offer
  • Impact: Be a key player in shaping the success of our product and company.

  • Growth: Build a fundamentally new AI product offering with the support of our experienced team and investors. Grow rapidly with the company.

  • Culture: Join a culture that values innovation, ownership, accountability, and fun.
