Growth Director – Nucleus Global

Overview

As Growth Director, you will play a pivotal role in Nucleus Global’s business development strategy. You will identify, cultivate, and sustain relationships with prospective clients to expand our presence across new therapy areas and accounts. In this role, you will strengthen the business development pipeline, coordinate the pitch process, equip teams with training and guidance, and shape winning proposals that position Nucleus Global at the forefront of industry innovation.


Key Responsibilities

Generating New Business

  • Generate opportunities and leads through market analysis, networking, personal contacts, and targeted prospecting at industry and scientific meetings.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key industry contacts to secure new clients and accounts.
  • Represent Nucleus Global at industry events and coordinate related business development activities.
  • Collaborate with growth team and stakeholders across Inizio Medical and Inizio to open and close opportunities.

Growing Existing Client Partnerships

  • Support client teams in expanding into new therapy areas and products.
  • Broaden service offerings with existing clients across publications, medical affairs, commercial, clinical, HEOR/market access, digital, and AI-driven solutions.

Proposal & Business Development Excellence

  • Embed best practices in business development and proposal processes through training and upskilling teams.
  • Lead the creation of compelling, innovative, and differentiated proposals that provide strategic solutions to client needs.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver proposals with innovative solutions that overcome client challenges and reinforce Nucleus Global’s competitive advantage.
  • Drive the evolution of service offerings in line with industry trends such as omnichannel engagement, digital transformation, and AI-powered content.
  • Create and refine marketing materials and credentials that highlight Nucleus Global’s expertise and value.

Leadership & Project Management

  • Partner with Client Service, Medical and Scientific Services, and Project Management teams, building trusted relationships and influencing teams to align on growth objectives and drive new opportunities
  • Establish, promote, and maintain excellent new business practices across Nucleus Global and through collaboration with Inizio partners.
  • Ensure compliance, confidentiality, and high-quality standards are maintained at all times.
  • Maintain a central growth hub, including capabilities decks, proposal resources, and supporting materials.
  • Manage submission of proposals to sourcing platforms such as Ariba.
  • Track and respond promptly to potential leads from website enquiries.

Candidate Profile

We are seeking a highly motivated, results-driven individual with deep healthcare communications experience and a proven track record of driving business growth in a medical communications environment. You will bring strong industry relationships, commercial acumen, and the ability to inspire teams to adopt a growth mindset.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree with significant experience in a medical communications agency or pharmaceutical setting.
  • Demonstrated success in consultative selling and business development, consistently achieving or exceeding revenue targets.
  • In-depth knowledge of the pharmaceutical and biotech industries with strong awareness of client needs.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position. This range may differ based on your experience and skill set, geographic location, and cost of living considerations. We consider compensation more than just a base salary – that’s why we also offer an exceptional range of flexible benefits, personal support and tailored learning and development opportunities all designed to help you realize your full potential both in life and at work.
Compensation
$135,000$160,000 USD
