LemFi (Series B) is building the go-to financial app for the Global South.

Moving to a new country shouldn’t mean starting from zero. That's why our team of 400+ spanning 20+ countries is building a financial ecosystem that helps immigrants stay connected to home, build stability, and create wealth regardless of where they are from or where they live.

What began as fast, affordable remittances is now evolving into a complete platform for multi-currency accounts, payments, credit, and long-term financial growth.

With millions of users across the globe, we process over $1B in monthly transactions to 30+ countries, proving that borders shouldn't limit financial opportunity.

About the role

You'll drive LemFi's expansion across Nigerian communities in the United States. This is a growth role built on travel, community and hands-on execution. You'll spend 3 to 5 days every 2 to 3 weeks in a new US city, representing LemFi at Nigerian community events, signing up new users, arranging sponsorships and networking with Nigerian communities across the country. You're not running growth from a desk. You're embedded in the communities we serve, acting as both a strategic thinker and a ground-level operator. You'll own growth outcomes for your assigned markets, working closely with Growth, Marketing, Product and Operations while serving as the internal voice of the user.

What you'll build and own
  • Travel across the USA 3 to 5 days every 2 to 3 weeks, establishing on-the-ground presence in new cities. Attend community events, drive brand awareness and new customer sign-ups. Build and expand LemFi's community network, network with local leaders and organizations, and arrange sponsorship for community events.

  • Develop and execute comprehensive user acquisition strategies tailored to Nigerian ex-pat communities in the US. Own growth targets for assigned markets and optimize campaigns using data and insights to improve acquisition KPIs.

  • Lead community-driven initiatives to build trust, awareness and advocacy for LemFi. Organize and participate in local events, meetups and forums. Build and maintain strong relationships with community leaders and grassroots partners. Act as brand ambassador for LemFi.

  • Identify, negotiate and manage partnerships with relevant organizations and businesses to accelerate user growth. Ensure partnerships deliver mutual value and measurable outcomes.

  • Conduct ongoing market research to understand user needs, behaviours and preferences. Provide actionable insights to Product and Marketing teams to refine messaging, features and positioning. Serve as the internal voice of the user, representing community perspectives in decision-making.

Your experience
  • At least 2 years of experience in fast-paced environments with a background in growth, sales, marketing or similar.

  • Deep understanding of the Nigerian community in the United States. You're culturally fluent and comfortable immersing yourself in new cultural environments.

  • Proven ability to work against targets and deliver measurable results. You're motivated by ambitious goals and comfortable being measured against clear KPIs.

  • Strong data-driven mindset. You interpret data, track performance and adjust strategies accordingly.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust with diverse stakeholders. You're a persuasive communicator who can influence partners and leaders.

  • Entrepreneurial and tenacious. You take ownership, push through obstacles and find ways to win. Biased to action, you think critically and move quickly.

  • Self-motivated and effective working independently. You're willing to travel extensively and work occasional weekends to support market growth.

Nice to have
  • Prior experience launching or scaling ventures in new markets.

  • Background in fintech, payments or diaspora-focused products.

  • Established network within Nigerian diaspora communities.
