How You Will Make An Impact:

ThredUp is seeking a talented Growth Marketing Associate to join our Growth Marketing team as we continue to scale customer acquisition through paid social channels. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience with Meta (Facebook/Instagram) campaigns.

This person is analytical, detail-oriented, creative, and thrives in a performance-driven environment. They are a critical thinker who loves experimenting with new strategies, optimizing campaigns, and driving measurable results. They have a passion for the secondhand space, sustainability, and using marketing as a lever for positive impact. Their input will help shape key business decisions and their efforts will drive new customer acquisition and shape the strategy of the growth function at ThredUp.

Success in this role requires creativity, strategic thinking, and close collaboration across teams. This role is highly cross-functional, working with Creative, Product, Analytics, and Finance teams to develop integrated campaigns that resonate with customers and drive growth.

In This Role You’ll Get To:

  • Plan, execute, and manage large-scale paid social campaigns on Meta with a focus on driving customer acquisition.

  • Develop and implement test-and-learn strategies, including A/B testing creative, targeting, and messaging to improve campaign efficiency.

  • Optimize paid social campaigns daily through bid, budget, audience, and creative refinements to hit performance KPIs.

  • Analyze campaign performance data to extract actionable insights, build comprehensive reports, and make strategic recommendations around best practices and key learnings to optimize channel performance.

  • Leverage expertise in Meta Product Catalog Ads to drive efficient conversion (bonus: experience managing campaigns that feature large SKU assortments or complex e-commerce catalogs).

  • Explore and expand into additional paid social channels like Pinterest and TikTok to diversify acquisition efforts.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Creative, Analytics, Product, Engineering, and Finance teams to ensure campaign alignment and integration.

  • Work closely with platform partners to stay up-to-date on emerging trends, features, and optimization strategies across social platforms.

  • Analyze performance data and synthesize insights to inform growth strategies, creative direction, and channel scaling.

  • Participate in broader growth marketing initiatives and contribute strategic recommendations for continuous improvement across paid media channels.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 2+ years of hands-on work experience with managing Meta (Facebook/Instagram) paid social campaigns

  • 2+ years of work experience in performance marketing, e-commerce, or other quantitative/data-driven fields

  • Familiarity with Pinterest and TikTok paid social platforms is a plus

  • Versatile and able to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make strategic, data-backed decisions

  • Deep experience with A/B testing frameworks and an enthusiasm for experimentation

  • Self-starter with a proactive and resourceful mindset, comfortable with both strategic planning and tactical execution.

  • Strong creative intuition and ability to work with creative teams to develop effective assets.

  • BA/BS degree in Marketing, Business, Analytics, or related quantitative fields.

At ThredUp, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package. This role pays between $82,000 and $98,000, and your actual base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Many ThredUp employees also have the opportunity to own shares of ThredUp stock. ThredUp employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, as well as a discount when purchasing ThredUp stock if voluntarily participating in ThredUp’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Subject to eligibility requirements, you’ll also receive other benefits: Comprehensive medical & dental coverage, vision, 401k, life and disability insurance.

    This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
