We’re hiring a Growth Marketing Lead to own paid acquisition and growth for the WhyGolf mobile app.

This is not a junior role and not a pure media buyer. You’ll be an operator—someone who can take growth strategy, translate it into execution, and reliably ship results across paid channels while working closely with product, creative, and lifecycle.

You will own performance marketing for the app end to end, with accountability for acquisition efficiency, creative testing velocity, and downstream performance.
The Role

We’re hiring a Growth Marketing Lead to own paid acquisition and growth for the WhyGolf mobile app.

This is not a junior role and not a pure media buyer. You’ll be an operator—someone who can take growth strategy, translate it into execution, and reliably ship results across paid channels while working closely with product, creative, and lifecycle.

You will own performance marketing for the app end to end, with accountability for acquisition efficiency, creative testing velocity, and downstream performance.

Responsibilities

  • Own paid acquisition across channels including Meta, Google/YouTube, Apple Search Ads, TikTok, and emerging platforms

  • Translate growth goals into clear channel strategies, creative testing roadmaps, and execution plans

  • Partner closely with creative to develop, launch, and iterate high-volume performance creative

  • Manage budgets, bids, audiences, and creatives with a clear ROAS, payback, and LTV mindset

  • Design and run experiments across creatives, audiences, funnels, and offers

  • Monitor performance using attribution tools and internal dashboards and connect ad performance to in-app activation, retention, and revenue

  • Clearly document learnings and feed them into future testing and growth decisions

  • Collaborate closely with product and lifecycle to ensure we acquire the right users and set them up for long-term success

  • Bring paid performance insights into broader growth initiatives, including onboarding flows, feature launches, and web-to-app funnels

Requirements
  • 2–4+ years of experience in performance marketing or user acquisition (mobile app experience preferred)

  • Hands-on experience managing Meta Ads and at least one additional paid channel

  • Strong understanding of core growth metrics including CAC, CPA, ROAS, LTV, and payback periods

  • Comfort working with attribution, experimentation, and performance analysis

  • Strong creative intuition and interest in performance-driven creative testing

  • High ownership mentality and ability to operate in a fast-moving, founder-led environment

  • Clear written and verbal communication skills

You’ll Stand Out If You...
  • Have experience growing a subscription-based or freemium mobile app

  • Have worked closely with product teams on activation, engagement, or retention initiatives

  • Have experience with web funnels or web-to-app acquisition

  • Have an interest in golf, sports, or performance-oriented consumer products

Compensation & Location
  • Competitive salary based on experience (80k-120k yearly)

  • Remote role (US-based preferred)
