About Adaptive:

Adaptive is a cybersecurity startup on a mission to stop AI-powered cyberattacks, founded by Brian Long and Andrew Jones—proven entrepreneurs behind Attentive (Forbes Cloud 100, $10B+ valuation) and TapCommerce (acquired by Twitter). In April 2025, Adaptive raised $43M, led by a16z and the OpenAI Fund, marking OpenAI's first-ever cybersecurity investment.

As generative AI drives new cyber threats, Adaptive is building the defense layer every organization needs. Our platform combines personalized security training, AI-driven attack simulations, and automated threat triage, all powered by the Adaptive Risk Intelligence Engine to quantify human risk at the individual level. Trusted by top banks, tech companies, and healthcare organizations, we protect teams from emerging threats like deepfakes, smishing, and voice scams. With a solid product foundation and a $200B+ market to transform, we're just getting started.

The Role

We’re hiring a Growth Marketing Manager to lead and execute innovative, data-driven strategies for driving revenue growth through account-based marketing, funnel optimization, and customer retention initiatives. In this role, you’ll focus on developing targeted campaigns and nurturing high-value accounts while deepening customer engagement and loyalty.

Based in one of our offices in New York, San Francisco, or Los Angeles, you’ll report directly to the VP of Marketing and work closely with Product, Sales, and Customer Success teams to scale our go-to-market efforts and drive sustained growth.

What You’ll Do
  • Account-Based Marketing (ABM): Design and implement targeted ABM campaigns to engage high-value accounts, including personalized messaging and coordinated multi-channel outreach (digital, email, social, etc.).

  • Funnel Marketing: Develop, execute, and optimize email marketing and other funnel-based strategies to nurture leads through the conversion journey. Use data-driven insights to refine tactics and increase conversion rates.

  • Customer Marketing: Create and manage customer advocacy programs and marketing initiatives to drive retention, upsell opportunities, and referrals. Produce compelling case studies, testimonials, and success stories.

  • Campaign Management: Plan, launch, and analyze integrated marketing campaigns across various channels, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.

  • Data Analysis & Optimization: Leverage analytics tools to monitor performance, conduct A/B testing, and continuously optimize campaign strategies for better ROI.

  • Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with Sales, Product, and Customer Success teams to ensure a seamless transition from lead generation to customer engagement.

  • Market & Competitive Insights: Conduct market research to identify trends and competitive dynamics that inform strategic marketing decisions.

  • Content Creation: Develop engaging content—such as emails, landing pages, and thought leadership pieces—that resonates with targeted audiences and drives engagement.

Who You Are
  • Experienced: 5–8+ years in growth or digital marketing roles within B2B SaaS, with a strong focus on ABM, funnel marketing, and customer marketing.

  • Data-Driven: You excel at interpreting data, running A/B tests, and translating insights into actionable strategies.

  • Strategic & Tactical: A visionary marketer who can also roll up your sleeves and execute detailed campaigns.

  • Excellent Communicator: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft compelling, persuasive narratives.

  • Collaborative Team Player: Proven ability to work across departments and manage cross-functional projects.

  • Tech-Savvy: Proficient in marketing automation, CRM, and analytics tools (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo, Salesforce) with a solid grasp of digital marketing best practices.

  • Location & Culture: Comfortable working in-office at our New York, San Francisco, or Los Angeles locations with a dynamic, fast-paced team.

What We Offer
  • Impactful Role: A strategic position at one of the most exciting cybersecurity startups in the world.

  • Equity & Growth: Equity in a high-upside, venture-backed business led by seasoned founders.

  • Comprehensive Benefits: Premium healthcare, vision, and dental coverage.

  • Culture of Excellence: A culture that values speed, precision, and high ownership.

  • Collaborative Environment: An in-office team across New York, San Francisco, and Los Angeles, united by a mission to build something that matters.

If you’re passionate about leveraging innovative marketing strategies to drive growth and have the expertise in account-based, funnel, and customer marketing, we’d love to hear from you. Join us in our mission to outsmart AI-powered threats and protect organizations worldwide.
