About David AI

David AI is the first audio data research company. We bring an R&D approach to data–developing datasets with the same rigor AI labs bring to models. Our mission is to bring AI into the real world, and we believe audio is the gateway. Speech is versatile, accessible, and human—it fits naturally into everyday life. As audio AI advances and new use cases emerge, high-quality training data is the bottleneck. This is where David AI comes in.

David AI was founded in 2024 by a team of former Scale AI engineers and operators. In less than a year, we’ve brought on most FAANG companies and AI labs as customers. We recently raised a $50M Series B from Meritech, NVIDIA, Jack Altman (Alt Capital), Amplify Partners, First Round Capital and other Tier 1 investors.

Our team is sharp, humble, ambitious, and tight-knit. We’re looking for the best research, engineering, product, and operations minds to join us on our mission to push the frontier of audio AI.

About the Growth team

The Growth team is responsible for building and maintaining David AI’s global contributor base, the foundation of our Data Factory. This includes sourcing and activating a diverse set of contributors that includes voice actors, linguists, and transcribers, so that we can meet partner demand reliably and at scale.

About the Growth Operations Lead role

As a Growth Operations Lead, you’ll own the operating model for contributor growth. You’ll design how we acquire, activate and scale our contributor network across markets, define the systems and processes that support that growth, and ensure the machine works efficiently as volume and complexity increase.

In this role, you will
  • Own contributor growth end-to-end. From acquisition strategy to activation, retention, and scale.

  • Run high-velocity experiments across channels, geographies, and contributor profiles. Launch fast, kill losers quickly, and double down on what works.

  • Iterate on product & incentive mechanics to influence contributor behavior, quality, and retention.

  • Optimize our funnel to drive higher conversion and repeat engagement.

  • Partner tightly with Product, Operations, and Engineering to ship growth-driven features, tooling, and workflows. You will influence what gets built and why.

Your background looks like
  • 3-8 years of experience in growth, marketing, or operations roles at fast-scaling companies.

  • Proven track record of building and scaling contributor networks, user acquisition funnels, or community-driven programs.

  • Scrappy execution mindset, comfortable testing unconventional channels, iterating quickly, and doing hands-on work to prove concepts.

Bonus points if you have
  • Experience driving fast-paced growth programs within user marketplaces.

  • Ability to write your own SQL queries to extract actionable insights.

  • Experience building and automating scalable workflows and proofs of concept using code or no-code tools to boost operational efficiency.

Benefits
  • Unlimited PTO.

  • Top-notch health, dental, and vision coverage with 100% coverage for most plans.

  • FSA & HSA access.

  • 401k access.

  • Meals 2x daily through DoorDash + snacks and beverages available at the office.

  • Unlimited company-sponsored Barry’s classes.
