This B2B Senior Marketing Manager role will drive the next phase of growth for SMB Team by testing, learning and scaling new marketing channels that generate marketing-qualified leads and revenue. By identifying existing and emerging opportunities across paid and performance media that reach our target audience, you will expand our paid channel mix, uncover new areas of success, and strengthen our overall marketing efficiency. Your work ensures we invest in what works, operationalize proven channels, and continuously evolve our marketing strategy through data-backed experimentation, insight, and results.

The base salary for this role is $100,000 - $105,000 based on experience.

Responsibilities:

  1. Identify and evaluate new growth channels (e.g., native advertising, Google PPC, retargeting, podcast ads, listicles), assessing potential impact and fit for target audiences.
  2. Lead prioritization and experimentation of paid media channels, designing test frameworks, and determining success metrics.
  3. Plan, launch, and measure pilot campaigns across emerging channels, ensuring tests are structured for clear learnings.
  4. Continuously optimize performance, improving scale, efficiency, and ROI across new and developing channels.
  5. Operationalize successful channels, maturing them into evergreen programs and managing the transition to relevant owners or teams.
  6. Coordinate cross-channel campaigns, ensuring integrated messaging, cohesive execution, and efficient budget allocation.
  7. Report on growth channel performance and insights, providing well-thought-out strategic recommendations that inform broader marketing and business strategy and execution.

Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in growth marketing, paid media, or demand generation, with a proven record of identifying and scaling high-performing marketing channels. Ideally with B2B experience. At least 7+ years of experience with Google PPC.
  • Proven ability to define, execute, and measure the effectiveness of multi-channel marketing campaigns such as campaigns across paid search, native, and emerging platforms.
  • Deep understanding of the full acquisition funnel, including lead generation, nurturing, and conversion optimization.
  • Highly analytical and data-driven, with the ability to interpret performance data, identify trends, and turn insights into actionable strategies using tools like Google Analytics, HubSpot, and Hyros.
  • Strategic thinker with flawless execution, able to balance big-picture planning with detail-oriented implementation and continuous optimization.
  • Demonstrated success in managing marketing technology (MarTech) stacks and integrating tools for campaign execution, tracking, and reporting.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills, with experience partnering effectively with Sales and creative teams to drive aligned results.
  • Proficiency in building and maintaining performance dashboards and reporting frameworks that drive visibility, accountability, and learning.
  • Hands-on and proactive, with a bias for action and a test-and-learn mindset that drives experimentation and innovation.
  • Team player with a strong work ethic and positive attitude, committed to shared goals and to helping the broader marketing team succeed.
