About Mangomint

Mangomint is a fast-growing SaaS company on a mission to make every salon and spa more profitable. We are already the highest-rated salon and spa software in the US and Canada with thousands of customers and seek to become the #1 market leader in the coming years.

We’re a primarily remote company, ambitious, and collaborative team that gathers together every few months. As we grow, we’re looking to attract high-potential individuals who want to be part of a winning team. If that’s you, come join us!

About the Role:

We are launching a new AI product designed to reduce front-desk work and help beauty and wellness businesses serve their clients more effectively. As the first GTM hire for this product, you will help determine how we bring it to market and make customers successful.

You will own the early customer journey from discovery and positioning through onboarding, activation, adoption, and ongoing learning.

This is a hands-on operating role across strategy, growth, product, onboarding, and customer experience. You will report directly to the Head of New Product and have influence over both the customer experience and what we build next.

In this role, you will

  • Develop and test the initial GTM approach: Define early customer segments, use cases, positioning, messaging, and the customer journey

  • Work directly with customers: Partner with salon and spa owners and operators through discovery, demos, onboarding, and adoption

  • Drive activation and usage: Identify what creates customer value, where customers get stuck, and how we can improve activation, time-to-value, and ongoing engagement

  • Build repeatable processes: Create practical systems for qualification, demos, onboarding, education, support, and customer feedback

  • Partner with product and engineering: Turn customer conversations and usage patterns into clear product insights and priorities

  • Run focused experiments: Test messaging, onboarding flows, customer education, and follow-up motions, using metrics such as conversion, activation, time-to-value, usage, and retention

What We're Looking For:

We care less about years on a resume and more about slope, judgment, communication, and ownership. We are open to exceptional new grads, early-career candidates, and candidates with more experience.

There is no single required background. You may have developed the relevant skills in consulting, banking, product operations, implementation, customer success, growth, a founder’s office, an early-stage startup, or through independent projects where you had to operate with real ownership.

You may be a strong fit if you have demonstrated some of the following:

  • Strong structured problem-solving skills and the ability to turn an ambiguous problem into a practical course of action

  • High agency and a record of taking responsibility beyond your formal role

  • Excellent customer presence: you build trust, ask good questions, explain complex ideas simply, and move conversations toward an outcome

  • Sound product judgment: you notice where users become confused, blocked, engaged, or successful

  • Comfort using data to identify patterns, evaluate experiments, and make decisions

  • Strong written communication and the ability to turn messy customer feedback into clear internal recommendations

  • Versatility across customer conversations, operational execution, strategic analysis, and cross-functional problem-solving

  • Genuine interest in AI and how it can improve real-world business workflows

Even Better if You Have:

  • Helped launch a new product, business line, customer motion, or operating process

  • Worked in a customer-facing software, startup, or operationally complex service-business environment

  • Used AI tools deeply in your own work or helped customers adopt a new technology

What You’ll Love About Mangomint

Mangomint combines the customer access and resources of a category leader with the ownership and learning curve of a new product launch.

You will work directly with customers, product leaders, and engineers while building broad experience across GTM strategy, customer discovery, onboarding, product feedback, analytics, and experimentation. As the product grows, the scope of the role can grow with it.

Mangomint is remote-first, ambitious, and collaborative. We come together in person every few months and expect people to operate with ownership wherever they are.

  • Health, dental, vision, life & LTD insurance

  • Generous monthly wellness budget for gym memberships, yoga, etc.

  • Premium subscription to the Calm app & One Medical membership

  • Flexible PTO

  • 401k plan available (no matching)

  • Employee stock option program

Mangomint is an equal opportunity employer. We do not discriminate against any employee or job applicant on the basis of race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy, sexual orientation, and gender identity), national origin, age, disability and genetic information (including family medical history).

San Francisco and the surrounding Bay Area attracts more startup funding than any other region in the world. Home to Stanford University and UC Berkeley, leading VC firms and several of the world’s most valuable companies, the Bay Area is the place to go for anyone looking to make it big in the tech industry. Key Facts About San Francisco Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 365,500; 13.9% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Google, Apple, Salesforce, Meta
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, fintech, consumer technology, software
  • Funding Landscape: $50.5 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
