About Cartesia

Our mission is to architect AI that learns from and interacts with the world like humans do.

We're pioneering the model architectures that will make this possible. Our founding team met as PhDs at the Stanford AI Lab, where we invented State Space Models or SSMs, a new primitive for training efficient, large-scale foundation models. Our team combines deep expertise in model innovation and systems engineering paired with a design-minded product engineering team to build and ship cutting edge models and experiences.

We're funded by leading investors at Index Ventures and Lightspeed Venture Partners, along with Factory, Conviction, A Star, General Catalyst, SV Angel, Databricks and others. We're fortunate to have the support of many amazing advisors, and 90+ angels across many industries, including the world's foremost experts in AI.

About the Role

Cartesia is building the future of real-time audio intelligence, and we're looking for a hungry, execution-oriented GTM Strategist to help us open doors at the most important companies in the world. You'll own strategic outbound into a curated list of high-value targets, building account plans, identifying the right entry points, and running multi-threaded outreach that reflects genuine understanding of a business.

If you want to get into the arena at one of the most exciting moments in AI, this is the seat.

Your Impact

  • Drive outbound into a named list of enterprise targets: researching organizations, mapping stakeholders, and running sequenced outreach that goes well beyond a cold email

  • Build account plans that reflect a genuine understanding of each target's business model, priorities, and where Cartesia fits

  • Identify and pursue multiple angles into each account, threading outreach across functions and seniority levels to create real traction

  • Get in front of decision-makers through creative, persistent, and highly personalized outreach

  • Hand off to Account Executives with full context, clearly articulated pain points, and next steps already in motion

  • Surface market intelligence back to GTM leadership: what you're hearing in the field, where interest is clustering, and where new opportunities are emerging

What You Bring

  • 1–2 years in a BDR/SDR or GTM role with a strong emphasis on outbound prospecting and pipeline generation, or equivalent experience in venture capital, investment banking, or a similar environment where you sourced deals and had direct exposure to executive-level conversations

  • A track record of exceeding outbound activity and pipeline targets

  • Demonstrated ability to research and build conviction on a company from the outside in

  • Relentless drive and a bias toward action— you find a way through, not around

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication; you craft outreach that earns a response and can move someone from cold to convinced

  • High personal accountability and the ability to manage a complex workload without losing attention to detail

  • Bachelor's degree from a top-tier university with strong academic performance in a rigorous field of study

Nice to Have

  • Experience building target lists, executing outreach campaigns, and tracking pipeline independently

  • Hands-on experience with outbound tooling such as Apollo, Clay, Outreach, or similar

  • Familiarity with enterprise software, developer tooling, or the AI landscape

Note: Cartesia participates in E-Verify and will provide the federal government with Form I-9 information to confirm employment eligibility after hire.
