About Simple

Simple AI is building state of the art voice AI agents for enterprise. Our realistic agents help iconic businesses like Doordash, xAI, and Omaha Steaks handle all kinds of phone operations, from customer support to order intake to lead qualifications. We’re growing revenue like crazy and looking for our first Account Executive to help accelerate our sales motion and close high-impact deals.

Simple AI raised $14M from world-class investors and operators like Y Combinator, First Harmonic, Massive Tech Ventures, Michael Seibel, Jared Friedman, Alexandr Wang, Matt Van Horn, Suhail Doshi, and Scott Wu.

The Team

The founders (Catheryn and Zach) met while running software teams at YC, where they shipped tons of new products for YC founders, including YC’s co-founder matching site. Cat previously worked at Instagram and Facebook and earned degrees in math and computer science at MIT. Zach previously studied computer science and statistics at U Chicago and led software at PEAK6.

About the Role

We're looking for a GTM Engineer to join us in-person in SF and build the systems, automations, and tooling that make our sales team wildly efficient. You'll own our CRM infrastructure, build data pipelines for lead scoring and enrichment, create outbound automation workflows, and develop internal tools that give our Growth Marketer, AEs and SDRs superpowers.

This role is ideal for someone who's part engineer, part growth hacker — someone who loves building systems that directly drive revenue.

What You'll Do
  • Build and maintain our CRM workflows, automations, and integrations (e.g., HubSpot/Salesforce, outbound tooling, enrichment APIs).

  • Design and implement lead scoring models and data enrichment pipelines.

  • Create outbound automation sequences and tooling to support the sales team.

  • Build internal dashboards and reporting tools for pipeline visibility and sales performance.

  • Develop and optimize integrations between sales, marketing, and product tools.

  • Experiment with AI-powered sales tooling and workflows to give the team a competitive edge.

  • Collaborate with sales leadership to identify bottlenecks and build solutions.

What You'll Need
  • 2–5 years of experience in a GTM engineering, sales operations, revenue operations, or growth engineering role.

  • Strong programming skills (Python, JavaScript, or similar) — you can build, not just configure.

  • Experience with CRM platforms (HubSpot, Salesforce) and sales/marketing tooling.

  • Comfort working with APIs, webhooks, and data pipelines.

  • Analytical mindset with experience using data to drive decisions.

  • Self-motivated and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have
  • Experience building internal tools or automations at a high-growth startup.

  • Familiarity with AI/ML tools for lead scoring, personalization, or outbound optimization.

  • Experience at an early-stage startup (Seed → Series B).

  • Background in sales or marketing operations.

What We Offer
  • Competitive salary & meaningful equity

  • Employee-friendly equity terms

  • An office located in SF

  • Health, dental & vision insurance

  • Free lunch & dinner at the office

  • Free Ubers home after 8:30pm

  • Regular team events & offsites

If you're excited to build the technical engine behind a high-growth AI startup's go-to-market motion, we'd love to chat.
