  • Exceptional product-market fit: We have partnered with the largest accounting firms and professional service providers in the world.

  • World-class team: Accordance is hiring the best technical and non-technical talent from places like OpenAI, FAIR, Flexport, DeepMind, Google Brain, and Stanford AI Laboratory (SAIL).

  • Partnerships: Our engineers and researchers work directly with Microsoft and OpenAI to build the future of generative AI and redefine professional services.

  • Value: Top of market cash and equity compensation.

About the Role

As a GTM Staff member at Accordance, you will play a central role in bringing our AI-powered solutions to the world's largest accounting firms, professional service providers, and corporate finance and tax teams. You will work closely with our Product and Finance & Accounting Research teams to translate our platform's capabilities into real value for clients. The scope of this role will flex depending on what the business needs most and what you're best at. We are looking for individuals with experience in professional services or corporate finance who are excited about helping define how transformative AI products reach the market.

The role is based in San Francisco, CA. We use an in-person work model and offer relocation assistance to new employees.

Responsibilities
  • Revenue Growth: Own and drive revenue targets by identifying, qualifying, and closing new business opportunities across accounting firms, professional service providers, and corporate accounting and tax teams.

  • Relationship Building: Develop deep, trusted relationships with senior stakeholders — from partners at firms to heads of corporate tax — and become a go-to resource for how AI can transform their workflows.

  • Sales Process: Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through close, including discovery, demos, proposals, and negotiation, tailoring the approach to each buyer's needs and organizational complexity.

  • Market Expansion: Identify and pursue new market segments, partnerships, and channels to broaden Accordance's reach and accelerate adoption.

  • Cross-Functional Feedback Loop: Serve as the voice of the market internally, working with Product, Engineering, and Research to translate client needs and competitive insights into product direction.

Qualifications

Candidates should have 2+ YoE (post-BS/MS) in an AI / ML role. Additionally, you may be a strong fit for this role if you:

  • Experience selling into or working within large accounting firms, Big 4, corporate accounting or tax functions, or equivalent professional service providers

  • Have a proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets in an enterprise sales environment

  • Understand the pain points and buying dynamics of accounting and finance organizations and can credibly speak to how technology fits into their workflows

  • Can effectively communicate with both clients and internal stakeholders and translate seamlessly and effectively between both groups

  • Have the ability to define positive outcomes in situations with underspecified success criteria

  • Are willing and eager to do work in the trenches — e.g., building prospect lists, running demos, iterating on outreach, and jumping on calls — scaling a GTM function from the ground up requires a hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves mentality
