About the Role
We’re on the hunt for someone who lives for bold ideas. The kind of high-impact, slightly unhinged brand experiences that get prospects talking, make customers feel like insiders, and give the rest of our marketing team something epic to amplify.
Think pop-up events, memorable field activations, surprise gifts that feel way too thoughtful, clever stunts that make B2B feel human again, and other “holy shit that was crazy” experiments. If it breaks the mold and starts conversations, it’s fair game.
This isn’t a traditional marketing gig. You’ll dream up daring concepts, sell them internally, and then actually bring them to life. Part artist, part producer, part mad scientist.
Responsibilities
Guerrilla & Field Activations
Hyperbound first blew up because we did fun, wacky, unexpected things. Now, you will work cross-functionally with our entire company to conceive more creative, unconventional marketing stunts that drive brand buzz (both irl and online).
Then you will work hands-on to execute. You will source props, coordinate vehicles, plan logistics, and all the other details that go into executing your mad genius ideas.
Content Production & Collaboration
Work together with our social media team to turn stunts into high-quality video content, blog pieces, customer stories, and more.
Work closely with sales and customer success to identify target accounts or customers who would be open to (or excited by) these memorable experiences.
Work with customer marketing on retention and advocacy moments.
Collaborate with demand gen and events teams to turn fun marketing into pipeline.
Build a library of evergreen, entertaining “brand personality” content.
Operational Ownership
Manage budgets for stunts, props, transportation, swag, and event production.
Develop repeatable playbooks for activations: what worked, what didn’t, and how to scale successful ideas while making them look random and spontaneous.
Track engagement, impressions, and pipeline.
Qualifications
1+ years in experiential marketing, guerrilla marketing, field marketing, creative production, or a similarly creative role.
Creative intuition with a knack for generating viral, entertaining, surprising ideas. Our whole team is wildly creative, but you probably have the most creative role in the company.
Strong organizational skills in order to execute wild marketing ideas successfully.
Experience in B2B SaaS or high-growth startups preferred, but not required. Creativity and execution win here.
Great communicator who can work cross-functionally with every department. The best ideas come from group effort!
Willingness to travel to customer offices, events, and city activations (20-40%).
Bonus: background in video, content creation, improv, event production, or performance.
***This is not a remote role! 5x/week at our SF office.
