Job Description

SubPac is looking for an energetic engineer with moderate experience in consumer hardware development. You'll be working out of a dream facility with top-tier talent in the consumer product industry.

You're a self-driven generalist with a solid foundation in electrical or mechanical engineering. Ideally, you've worked in a startup environment where you juggled multiple roles with passion. You're the kind of person who will take pride in bringing game-changing products to the masses, and are willing and able to go the extra mile to do so.  And you're an audio nerd.

  • Work closely with R&D team to support NPI (new product introduction) activities for next generation products.

  • Work closely with SubPac ID, ME & Asian manufacturing teams to communicate and resolve engineering and manufacturing challenges as they arise.

  • Incorporate DFM principles and best practices.
  • Work with the rest of the PD team to constantly create and revise our product roadmap and prioritize features.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 3+ years' experience hardware engineering.
  • Must be a self-starter able to work in a multi-disciplined team environment and across functional boundaries.
  • Bachelors in electrical engineering strongly preferred.
  • Love of music - a huge bonus.
