Responsibilities

Essential Functions and Primary Duties

  • Proactively prospect and generate new B2B business through cold calling, networking, field outreach, and digital engagement.

  • Achieve annual new revenue targets through consultative sales to new clients.

  • Act as a high-activity “door opener,” focused on displacing legacy providers and winning net-new logos.

  • Manage the full sales cycle including discovery, solution development, proposal presentation, contract negotiation, and closing.

  • Track and manage all sales activities, opportunities, and prospect interactions within CRM systems.

  • Document and analyze won and lost opportunities to improve sales strategy and forecasting.

  • Partner with internal implementation and client service teams to ensure a seamless onboarding experience for new clients.

  • Identify and support cross-selling opportunities across additional service lines.

  • Provide leadership with insights on market trends, competitive activity, and client needs.

  • Contribute to personal and professional development through annual goal setting and performance planning.

  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of full-suite HCM and payroll sales experience (Outside B2B sales)

  • Experience selling to mid-market organizations (50–500 employees)

  • Proven track record of prospecting new logos, quota attainment, and sales success

  • Positive, persistent, and self-starting mindset with the ability to thrive under pressure

  • Established network

  • Bachelor's Degree


Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent 
  • Some relevant industry experience
  • Must obtain required licenses/credentials
  • Superior command of verbal, written, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Proficient use of applicable technology
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of the organization, both internally and externally
  • Must be able to travel based on client and business needs
