About Faire

Faire is an online wholesale marketplace built on the belief that the future is local — independent retailers around the globe are doing more revenue than Walmart and Amazon combined, but individually, they are small compared to these massive entities. At Faire, we're using the power of tech, data, and machine learning to connect this thriving community of entrepreneurs across the globe. Picture your favorite boutique in town — we help them discover the best products from around the world to sell in their stores. With the right tools and insights, we believe that we can level the playing field so that small businesses everywhere can compete with these big box and e-commerce giants.

By supporting the growth of independent businesses, Faire is driving positive economic impact in local communities, globally. We’re looking for smart, resourceful and passionate people to join us as we power the shop local movement. If you believe in community, come join ours.

About this role

We're looking for an experienced sales leader to scale our brand partnerships team across both SMB and enterprise segments, with a strong focus on helping the team go upmarket. This person will be responsible for driving performance and productivity across the team, while also building the enterprise sales muscle required to win with larger, more complex accounts.  The role blends high-velocity commercial motions with strategic enterprise selling. You'll lead a team that can flex across segments from activating emerging brands to orchestrating complex, multi-stakeholder deals and building long-term partnerships with larger suppliers.

You’ll play a critical role in developing sales talent, evolving our sales motion in the world of AI, and positioning Faire as the marketplace partner of choice for suppliers of all sizes. You'll also collaborate closely with product, marketing, and strategy & analytics to shape our broader brand growth strategy. If you're passionate about building world-class sales organizations, excited about marketplaces, and skilled at scaling both commercial and enterprise motions, we'd love to meet you.

What you’ll do

  • Team Management: Lead and coach sales managers and their teams, with a focus on talent development, performance management, and fostering a culture of high accountability and growth.
  • Sales Strategy: Build and execute a winning sales strategy that spans both mid-market and enterprise, with an emphasis on helping the team move upmarket and win larger, strategic accounts.
  • Enterprise Sales Development: Uplevel enterprise capabilities by embedding solution selling, complex deal orchestration, and multi-stakeholder engagement into the team’s toolkit. Personally support and quarterback strategic, multi-threaded deals.
  • Process Optimization: Increase sales rep productivity through AI tools, improved sales coaching, and scalable processes.
  • Onboarding Excellence: Ensure strong engagement and conversion for new brand activations, while building the foundation for long-term success and growth (ARR, renewals, expansions).
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product, marketing, and analytics to align sales initiatives with company goals and inform roadmap with enterprise customer insights.
  • Revenue Leadership: Contribute to broader sales leadership, standardizing processes, performance management, and org design across the team.
  • Innovation & Growth: Identify and execute high-leverage growth opportunities in partnership with key stakeholders across the company.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of sales experience, with at least 5 years managing high-performing teams, including both frontline managers and individual contributors, across mid-market and enterprise.
  • Proven success driving upmarket growth, including managing complex, multi-threaded, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales cycles while also scaling high-velocity mid-market motions.
  • Demonstrated ability to coach, develop, and scale sales teams in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
  • Strong analytical and operational acumen — comfortable using pipeline health, CRM data, and performance dashboards to diagnose issues and guide decisions.
  • Deep fluency in sales processes, SaaS/enterprise motions (solution selling, deal orchestration, renewals/expansions), and experience tailoring sales strategies across customer segments.
  • Expertise with sales systems and tools (e.g., Salesforce, Gong, Salesloft, Orum) and a strong POV on how to leverage AI and automation to improve productivity.
  • Hands-on leadership style, equally comfortable joining calls to advance deals or running coaching sessions with managers and reps.
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills with product, marketing, analytics, and operations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with executive presence and the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Resilience, adaptability, and a growth mindset — able to lead teams through ambiguity, change, and the continuous evolution of process and strategy.
  • Passion for Faire’s mission and a desire to build a generational company that empowers entrepreneurs worldwide.
