We’re building the next generation of conversational voice and video AI for life sciences—intelligent with 100% regulatory compliance. Our AI medical experts help pharma teams engage doctors, support patients, and unlock insights faster than ever before. We’ve just raised our seed, signed our first customers, and are scaling fast. If you're excited about building real-world AI in an early stage startup and shape not just our product, but our identity and culture —this is your moment.

We move like owners. Everyone at SynthioLabs has the autonomy and the responsibility to drive projects, challenge decisions, and push things forward. We don’t wait for permission. If you see a gap, you fill it. If you see a better way, you try it.

We ask “why” until we get to the root. We explore new ideas, research papers, every single edge case and anything that sharpens our understanding.

We use AI like a second brain. From writing code to writing docs, debugging flows to exploring new ideas, AI is part of our daily rhythm. Everyone here gets hands-on with the tools, learns how to prompt better, and treats AI as a teammate.

About Synthio
Synthio Labs is building the Agentic and Voice AI platform for pharma GTM teams — spanning voice AI, agentic workflows, and AI-native infrastructure across field teams, HCP engagement, patient support, and market research. We’re already live with 5 of the top 10 global pharma companies and scaling toward enterprise-wide deployments.

About the Role
We're looking for a Head of BD & Partnerships to build the ecosystem that accelerates SynthioLabs' growth. You'll own two distinct but complementary motions: closing strategic partnerships with large pharma organizations, and building the technology alliances — with companies like OpenAI, Anthropic, AWS, and others — that strengthen our platform and open new distribution channels.
This role requires someone who can operate at both levels. You understand how enterprise deals work inside large pharma. You also know how tech partnerships get structured and what makes them valuable beyond the press release.

What you'll own
Technology & ecosystem alliances Own the full partner relationship with OpenAI, AWS, NVIDIA, GCP, Azure, and Anthropic — from initial MOU to co-sell motions to marketplace listings. Negotiate co-marketing, credits, and joint GTM agreements. Translate partner roadmaps into product input. You're our early-warning system for what's coming from each platform, and you own our presence on AWS, GCP, and Azure Marketplaces as a demand channel.
Marketing partnerships Build Synthio's external presence through the right partnership channels. Own relationships with outlets like Forbes and industry publications to drive thought leadership and brand credibility. Identify and secure conference sponsorships and speaking opportunities that put Synthio in front of pharma commercial buyers.
Customer advisory board Build Synthio's CAB from scratch. Recruit 8-12 senior pharma commercial and medical affairs leaders, run 2 in-person sessions per year, and convert that signal into structured product and GTM recommendations. Use CAB relationships to open expansion conversations and generate referrals to new logos.
Pipeline development Own a qualified partnership pipeline across all tracks — platform alliances, pharma BD, and channel. Work cross-functionally with the founders, product, and GTM teams to prioritize the right deals and kill the wrong ones fast. You'll be managing 15-20 active conversations at any point; the job is knowing which 3 actually matter this quarter.
Deal structuring Lead commercial negotiations end-to-end. Define partnership frameworks that create long-term value — not just headline logos. You know the difference between a deal that looks good in a press release and one that compounds into $XXM ARR. You'll work with legal and finance to get deals across the line without losing the strategic intent in the redlines.

Who you are
  • 7+ years in BD, partnerships, or strategic alliances — at least 2 years in healthcare tech, life sciences tech, or enterprise AI
  • You've closed deals with at least 2 of the major AI platforms (OpenAI, AWS, NVIDIA, GCP, Azure, Anthropic). You know who to call.
  • You've structured pharma or enterprise healthcare deals beyond the pilot stage — co-development, multi-year commitments, expanded platform arrangements
  • You've built or run a customer advisory board and know what good looks like
  • You've managed external marketing partnerships — publications, conferences, co-marketing and know how to tie brand activity to pipeline
  • You write and communicate with precision. Complex deals become 5-sentence briefs.
  • You've worked directly with a founder or C-suite and know how to move fast without a big team behind you
Nice to have
  • Direct pharma commercial or medical affairs experience (as buyer or vendor)
  • Existing relationships at Pfizer, Novartis, J&J, AstraZeneca, Roche/Genentech, or Sanofi
  • Familiarity with AI marketplace programs (AWS ISV Accelerate, GCP ISCP, etc.)
  • YC or VC-backed Series A/B company experience

Why This Role Matters
The right partnerships will define how fast SynthioLabs scales and how deeply embedded we become in the life sciences stack. This person builds that foundation.

What We Offer
  • Competitive compensation and equity
  • Direct exposure to the founding team and key strategic decisions
  • A seat at the table as we expand from early customers to global pharma relationships
  • High-autonomy, high-trust environment

  • Major Tech Employers: Google, Apple, Salesforce, Meta
