About the Role

Strata Robotics builds robotics for the construction industry, and we need someone who speaks both languages: the jobsite and the engineering lab. You'll be the bridge between contractors, subs, and EPC firms on one side and our core engineering team on the other — spearheading the discovery, launch, and growth of pilot programs across the construction trades. Your credibility on-site matters as much as your commercial instincts.

What You'll Do

  • Identify, scope, and launch pilot programs with contractors, EPC firms, and owners — owning them from first site visit through conversion to commercial deployment
  • Translate jobsite realities (schedules, trade sequencing, safety culture, site logistics) into product requirements for our engineering team
  • Build trusted relationships with superintendents, project executives, innovation leads, and procurement teams, and represent Strata across the industry's relationship-driven ecosystem
  • Develop commercial models that fit how construction actually buys, and qualify opportunities ruthlessly to protect engineering time

What We're Looking For

Required

  • 8+ years in construction with deep on-site operational experience — you've lived the jobsite, not just visited it
  • Track record of building customer relationships and closing new business (pilots, partnerships, or project contracts)
  • Fluency in construction workflows, safety programs, and procurement cycles
  • Comfort with ambiguity at an early-stage company and willingness to travel extensively to active jobsites

Strong Plus

  • EPC project experience and familiarity with material handling and site logistics
  • Prior success introducing new technology or automation to construction crews
  • Existing network among GCs, EPC firms, or specialty contractors

What We Offer
Competitive salary + meaningful equity, full health coverage, direct influence on product and company strategy, and a front-row seat to deploying robotics on real jobsites — not in a lab.

Compensation
The base pay range for this role is $100,000 – $200,000 per year.
