As the Head of Community, you will build and lead a global community of users, advocate for their needs, and create engaging content and events to enhance user experience and adoption of Emergent's platform.
The summary above was generated by AI

Emergent builds autonomous coding agents that replace traditional software development by generating, testing, and deploying production applications directly from plain-language intent. Our systems run in production at global scale and are used to build millions of real applications.

Since public launch, Emergent has reached $100M ARR in 8 months. 6M+ users across 190+ countries have built 6.5M+ applications on Emergent. We've raised $100M+, backed by Khosla Ventures, SoftBank, Google, Lightspeed, Prosus, Together, and Y Combinator.

We're solving the hard part of AI-driven software creation: correctness, reliability, security, and scale in real production systems. The team is built by repeat founders, Olympiad medalists, IIT & IIM alumni, and leaders from Google, Amazon, and Dropbox.

We're hiring builders who want ownership, speed, and impact at global scale.

 The Role

We're hiring a Head of Community to build, lead, and scale the global community of builders, creators, and entrepreneurs who are using Emergent to turn ideas into real applications. This is a high-impact leadership role at the intersection of product, storytelling, and user advocacy. You'll own the community experience end-to-end from first discovery to deep adoption and cultivate a thriving ecosystem of passionate users who shape the future of AI-driven software creation. You'll work directly with the founders and leadership team to make Emergent the default platform for anyone turning ideas into applications.

 What You'll Do
  • Build and scale Emergent's global community: Grow and nurture a vibrant community of builders, creators, and entrepreneurs across Discord, social platforms, forums, and in-person events - turning users into advocates and advocates into evangelists.

  • Be the voice of the user: Serve as the primary advocate for Emergent's community, translating user feedback, pain points, and feature requests into actionable insights for the product and engineering teams. Inform roadmap priorities based on real community signals.

  • Own the community content engine: Create and curate high-impact content - tutorials, demos, showcases, user stories, video walkthroughs, and blog posts - that makes Emergent's capabilities accessible, exciting, and easy to adopt for builders of all skill levels.

  • Drive user activation and engagement: Design and execute programs that accelerate onboarding, activation, and retention — including hackathons, build challenges, workshops, office hours, and creator spotlight initiatives.

  • Lead a global events and advocacy strategy: Organize and represent Emergent at high-impact community events, conferences, and meetups. Build a network of community champions, power users, and ambassadors across key markets.

  • Forge ecosystem partnerships: Collaborate with the Partnerships and Growth teams to build relationships with creator communities, technical influencers, and complementary platforms that expand Emergent's reach.

  • Establish community playbooks and metrics: Define scalable processes for community growth, user engagement, content creation, and success measurement. Build a data-driven community function that ties community health to business outcomes.

  • Build and lead a world-class community team: Recruit, mentor, and scale a high-performing team of community managers, user advocates, and content creators as we grow.

Who You Are
  • 8–12 years of experience in community building, user advocacy, community leadership, or ecosystem development at high-growth tech or consumer-facing companies.

  • Proven track record of building and scaling user communities from the ground up you've grown engaged communities across platforms like Discord, GitHub, Reddit, Twitter/X, and Page_Upin-person events.

  • Strong product intuition: You deeply understand how users think and build. You can create compelling demos, write simple guides, and translate complex capabilities into accessible stories. Experience with AI, no-code/low-code, or creator tools is strongly preferred.

  • Exceptional content creator: You've produced high-quality content blogs, videos, talks, tutorials that users actually want to consume. You know how to make complex ideas simple and exciting.

  • Global mindset and cultural fluency: You understand how communities operate across different markets and can build programs that resonate globally.

  • Data-driven and strategic: You connect community engagement to business outcomes, using metrics and experimentation to inform decisions and demonstrate impact.

  • Builder mentality: You thrive in ambiguity, move fast, ship constantly, and are hands-on in the early stages while building scalable systems for the future.

  • Exceptional communicator and public speaker: Comfortable representing Emergent on stage at major conferences, in podcasts, livestreams, and across social media.Page_Up
