Your Role as Head of Corporate FP&A:

Fusable is seeking a strategic finance leader to serve as a key business partner to our CFO and executive leadership team. This is a high visibility role with the opportunity to build-out a world-class corporate FP&A function in a PE-backed environment.

This leader will be responsible for overseeing and maintaining scalable forecasting processing and driver-based financial models, leading and optimizing reporting cycles and developing executive communications, as well as driving and coordinating annual budgeting cycles and aggregating business inputs.

The ideal candidate combines strong financial and analytical expertise with the ability to influence senior stakeholders, translate complex business information into simplified messaging and actionable insights, while driving accountability against strategic objectives.

A Day in the Life of a Head of Corporate FP&A:

  • Lead the company-wide financial planning processes to include the annual budget, long-range plan, and monthly forecasts — across all brands and cost centers.
  • Own brand-level sales forecasting and labor modeling, leveraging macroeconomic trends, industry data, historical performance, and product strategies.
  • Oversee consolidated P&L reporting, and establish KPI dashboards that support board presentations, monthly operating reviews, and investor communications.
  • Continuously monitor and analyze key SaaS and recurring revenue metrics across brands, to include ARR bridges, MRR, retention, churn and margins
  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Product teams, Marketing, and HR to ensure financial alignment with strategic priorities. Collaborate with department leaders to establish budgets, performance targets, and operating plans.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leaders across Sales, Marketing, Product, Technology, Customer Success, Operations, and Corporate Functions.
  • Partner with commercial leaders to evaluate pricing strategies, revenue growth opportunities, and customer economics.
  • Provide variance analysis to uncover root causes, and recommend actions that improve margins, free cash flow and efficiency.
  • Translate complex financial data into clear insights that drive operational performance and executive decision-making.
  • Monitor industry and consumer trends, benchmark performance against competitors, and identify risks and opportunities before they surface.
  • Enhance forecasting accuracy through improved processes, data governance, and financial systems.
  • Build and develop a high-performing FP&A team, creating scalable processes, while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

What You Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree required in Finance, Economics, or Business Administration; MBA preferred.
  • 8-12+ years of progressive FP&A or finance experience, including team leadership.
  • Strong executive presence with proven success influencing executive stakeholders and scaling financial processes.
  • Advanced Excel, financial modeling, forecasting and PowerPoint expertise with strong storytelling capabilities.
  • Agility, precision, and the ability to manage complexity in a fast-moving environment.
  • A proactive and accountability-oriented mindset with a bias toward action and results

Preferred

  • MBA, CPA, CFA, or equivalent advanced certification.
  • Experience with subscription-based SaaS, DaaS, information services, technology, or digital platform businesses.
  • Experience supporting private-equity-backed, high-growth, or highly acquisitive organizations.
  • Expertise with financial planning tools, BI platforms, and ERP systems.
  • Experience leading finance teams in remote and distributed environments.
