KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Develop & execute the business strategy to achieve the unit’s targets & profitability 

  2. Ensure for delivery of seamless customer service through maintenance of high service standards

  3. Manage & strengthen Relationship Management and partnerships for the Custody Services business (customers, fund managers, brokers, regulators, administrators, stakeholders)

  4. Enforce robust risk excellence and compliance requirements (regulatory, audit, internal controls)

  5. Drive growth of market share, while retaining existing client base. 

  6. Lead, direct and develop a highly performing and motivated team 

  7. Oversee budget control and effective cost management 

  8. Ensure compliance with RBA, CMA, CBK, CDSC regulations with respect to provision of Custody Services. 

  9. Develop and lead KCB’s Facility agency business with respect to loan syndications, bond issues and other similar or related capital markets transactions in line with international industry standards



    DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES


  1. Oversee adherence to high operational standards and procedures 
  2. Ensure all regulatory returns are accurately compiled and submitted within the stipulated timelines
  3. Ensure investment transactions are processed within the market timelines and SLAs
  4. Oversee the preparation of reports to custody services clients within the stipulated timelines
  5. Ensure appropriate representation and participation of KCB in Client Board Meetings and Annual General Meetings   
  6. Provide guidance on best practices to the Custody Services Units in the Subsidiaries.
