About the Job:

We’re looking for a Head of Digital Demand to define and scale LaunchDarkly’s digital demand strategy across all paid digital channels, organic search, AI-driven discovery, and digital analytics. In addition to leading the digital demand function, this role operates as a central partner across Demand Generation, Lifecycle, Web, Product Marketing, Marketing Operations, SDR, and Sales to ensure digital investment is tightly aligned to go-to-market strategy, pipeline creation, and revenue outcomes. This leader translates company and GTM strategy into integrated digital plans that drive predictable pipeline and revenue growth.  

Responsibilities:Revenue-Aligned Digital Demand Strategy
  • Partner cross-functionally to evaluate revenue targets and growth plans, translating them into a clear digital demand strategy aligned to revenue objectives
  • Develop comprehensive media plans and digital investment strategies designed to achieve pipeline and revenue goals across segments and motions, including a balanced mix of broad demand capture, and account-based approaches
  • Own pipeline, revenue contribution, and efficiency outcomes for digital demand  
  • Make decisions on where to invest, scale, or pull back across paid, organic, and AI-mediated channels
  • Establish evaluation frameworks, success metrics, and operating models for digital demand programs
Paid Digital Media Leadership
  • Direct all paid digital channels and spend, including paid search, paid social, display, YouTube, PPL, and emerging platforms
  • Own accountability for the digital budget with authority over allocation, forecasting, and optimization
  • Activate and optimize targeted, account-based media programs in close partnership with Sales, SDR, Marketing Operations, and Campaign teams
  • Lead the creation of compelling ad copy, design, and landing page experiences by partnering with internal creative teams
SEO, GEO, and Search Ecosystem Ownership
  • Direct the organic search and generative engine optimization function
  • Establish an integrated search strategy across paid search, SEO, and GEO that maximizes total demand capture
  • Guide prioritization across keywords, categories, and intent segments at a portfolio level
  • Lead the evolution of search strategy as AI-driven discovery reshapes how buyers find and evaluate solutions
Digital Analytics and Measurement
  • Lead digital analytics and performance measurement, including Google Analytics  
  • Define standards for measurement, reporting, and decision-making across digital demand
  • Partner with Marketing Operations and RevOps to ensure data integrity and executive-level insight
  • Use analytics to guide investment decisions, experimentation strategy, and long-term planning
Organizational Leadership
  • Lead and coordinate senior individual contributors across paid media, search, SEO, and GEO, setting clear strategic direction and accountability across disciplines
  • Establish operating rhythms, planning processes, and accountability models across functions
  • Foster strong cross-functional collaboration and reconcile diverse stakeholder perspectives to drive outcomes
  • Present and defend digital investment strategies, results, and tradeoffs at the executive level
Qualifications:
  • 12+ years of experience in digital demand, performance marketing, or growth leadership
  • Proven success leading multi-function teams and complex digital portfolios in a B2B SaaS environment
  • Deep expertise in paid media, search ecosystems, and evolving AI-driven discovery models
  • Strong command of digital analytics and attribution, with accountability for pipeline performance and executive-level reporting

Pay:

Target pay ranges based on Geographic Zones* for Level M4:

  • Zone 1: San Francisco/Bay Area or NYC Metropolitan Area, Boston, Seattle - $xx - $xx**
  • Zone 2: Irvine, LA, Monterey, Santa Barbara, Santa Rosa, Austin, Portland, Philadelphia, Chicago - $xx - $xx**
  • Zone 3: All other US locations - $xx - $xx**

LaunchDarkly operates from a place of high trust and transparency; we are happy to state the pay range for our open roles to best align with your needs. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.

*Within the United States, our geographic pay zones are defined by counties surrounding major metropolitan areas.
**Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), health, vision, and dental insurance, and mental health benefits in addition to salary.
