About Us
At Sully.ai, We’re Building the Most Impactful Healthcare Company on Earth

We believe that access to a great doctor is a basic human right. Today, that’s not a reality. Delays, misdiagnoses, administrative chaos, and burnout plague the system.

Our Mission: One Human, One Doctor. We build AI teammates that augment clinicians — scribes, nurses, receptionists, translators — all powered by our own world-class models and deployed in real-world care.

Our Traction

  • 450+ organizations signed 16 months

  • AI agents cut admin by ~2.8 hours daily and reduce onboarding 85%.

  • 5M+ Clinical Tasks completed to date, serving 36+ specialties.

  • Raised $25M from YC, Eric Yuan, Amity, Semper Virens

  • Patented AI architecture (MedCon-1) outperforms GPT-4.5, Gemini, Claude on clinical reasoning tasks

Sully requires A-players capable of 4 months = 1 year output.

What You’ll Do:

Lead the engineering team responsible for Sully.ai’s AI Scribe Agent, owning velocity, quality, and reliability across clinical note generation and decision support.

  • Drive major latency reductions (targeting ≥50%) across note generation and decision-support workflows.

  • Build robust observability, metrics, and model-selection systems to ensure flawless performance at scale.

  • Run daily/weekly Scribe standups, manage the Linear board, and ensure consistent execution and cross-functional alignment.

  • Map dependencies, timelines, and deliverables to align engineering priorities.

  • Operationalize continuous note-quality evaluation to improve accuracy and completeness.

  • Enforce engineering best practices, code quality, and operational excellence across the Scribe stack.

What You Must Bring
  • 5+ years of engineering leadership or senior engineering experience with a track record of reducing latency and improving throughput.

  • Deep expertise in observability and metrics instrumentation: dashboards, alerts, tracing, logs, error pipelines, and model-monitoring systems.

  • End-to-end system ownership experience for critical reliability workflows (audio transcription, note output, EHR integrations).

  • Strong prioritization, code review discipline, and commitment to quality guardrails.

  • Nice-to-have:

    • Experience with FHIR/HL7 or EHR systems.

    • Background in real-time or near-real-time streaming, diarization, or structured-output pipelines.

    • Experience supporting front-end or extension-based integrations (web, mobile, browser extension).

First-Month Focus
  • Own observability and operational visibility for the entire Scribe system.

  • Define the core Scribe metrics framework and lead AI model-selection improvements.

  • Launch monitoring and alerting for transcription failures and critical incidents.

  • Reduce average clinician post-visit note-editing time to under 2 minutes.

90 Day OKRs
  1. Achieve 100% reliability across the full note-generation and decision-support workflow.

  2. Increase Decision Support workflow speed by 50%.

  3. Integrate the note-evaluation pipeline into weekly CI/CD, with measurable improvements in completeness and physician-level accuracy.

  4. Modernize legacy EHR integrations by refactoring or wrapping outdated systems, adding FHIR/API interfaces, and ensuring interoperability with current workflows.

If you’ve ever said, “I want to do work that actually matters”, this is it. Let’s build something life-changing, together.

Who Thrives Here

  • Entrepreneurial to your core: You think in outcomes, thrive in chaos, and take ownership without limits

  • Mission-obsessed: You’re here to save lives, not just ship features — patients and doctors are your why.

  • Impact-driven & fast-moving: You sprint toward hard problems and ship with sharp judgment.

  • Elite teammate: You raise the bar through high standards, direct feedback, and craft excellence.
