About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Head of Global Payments & Liquidity (GPL) Product Solution Specialists (PSS). This leader will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth, fostering client relationships, and guiding the team to deliver exceptional expertise on detailed product functionality to aid the expansion of both existing and new client relationships within GPL.
Overview:
The Head of PSS drives revenue growth by executing GPL's client solutions commercialization strategy in collaboration with marketing, product, and sales teams. You will partner with the GPL product organization to develop plans that educate bankers and clients on complex and emerging solutions, while working closely with the GPL sales organization to strengthen existing client relationships and identify new business opportunities. Leading a team of product specialists, you will cultivate deep expertise in treasury products and their integration with accounting and ERP systems. Additionally, you will guide client solutioning through a strong understanding of corporate treasury management, create thought leadership content that addresses industry pain points and innovations such as tokenized deposits, and stay informed on industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive developments to maintain a strategic edge.
In This Role, Responsibilities Will Include:
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.
$250,000.00 - $420,000.00

In This Role, Responsibilities Will Include:
- Lead, motivate, and manage a team of Product Sales Specialists, providing guidance and support to achieve sales targets and business objectives
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth and market expansion in line with company goals
- In partnership with the Global Payments and Liquidity sales organization, cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while also identifying and pursuing new business opportunities
- Cultivate and grow a team of deep product subject matter experts that understand the technical intersection between treasury products and accounting/ERP systems
- Understand the fundamentals of corporate treasury management and guide product solutioning for clients in collaboration with sales and product management teams
- Develop thought leadership materials and content that address known and emerging industry pain points and areas for optimization or improvement
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including product development, marketing, and operations teams, to enhance product offerings and address client needs effectively
- Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activities to inform strategic decision-making and maintain a competitive edge
- Provide regular performance evaluations, coaching, and professional development opportunities for team members to foster a culture of continuous improvement
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies to uphold ethical standards and mitigate risk within the sales function
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings to promote our brand and enhance our reputation as a trusted advisor in treasury banking
- 10+ years of Payments and Liquidity Product and Sales Management experience
- 10+ years of Management experience
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
- Certified Treasury Professional designation a plus
- Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles within the financial services industry, with a focus on treasury banking products and services
- Strong understanding of treasury banking products, including cash management, liquidity management, trade finance, and risk management solutions.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and credibility with clients at all levels
- Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze market trends, identify opportunities, and develop actionable plans to drive business growth
- Leadership experience, with the ability to inspire and motivate a high-performing team to achieve exceptional results
- Demonstrated ability to navigate complex organizational structures and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Sound judgment and decision-making skills, with a commitment to upholding ethical standards and regulatory compliance
