Bidbus is building a new way for everyday consumers to sell their cars. Instead of shopping around for offers, sellers enter a 2-hour live auction where licensed dealers compete to offer the best price to buy their vehicle.
We recently raised our Series A and have raised over $18M, backed by leading Silicon Valley VCs. Over the past few months, we’ve grown more than 8x and are continuing to expand into multiple markets across the U.S.
We’re investing heavily in product-led growth and have an ambitious goal to 10x again. To get there, we’re building a lean, high-output growth team with significant resources across Product, Engineering, Design, Marketing, Data, and Operations.
We’re looking for a highly hands-on Head of Growth, Consumer Product to own and scale consumer supply.
Own the full consumer journey end to end — from acquisition and activation through onboarding, conversion, lifecycle, retention, reactivation, and referral
Build a strong growth framework, metric tree, and experimentation system
Identify the biggest constraints in the funnel and prioritize where the team should focus
Balance big growth bets with continuous optimization of the existing funnel
Decide when to explore new opportunities and when to double down on what’s already working
Deeply understand consumer intent, trust, pricing sensitivity, and conversion behavior
Decide where to invest across paid and non-paid growth channels based on the highest incremental growth opportunity
Have significant resources across Product, Engineering, Design, Marketing, Data, and Operations to grow the consumer user base
Personally dive into data, customer behavior, experiments, UX, and growth problems
Build a repeatable growth engine as the company scales
Strong product / Growth PM background
Experience owning consumer activation, onboarding, conversion, lifecycle, retention, or marketplace growth
Highly analytical and comfortable building growth frameworks from scratch
Strong experimentation and prioritization judgment
Very hands-on — not just a people manager
Able to move between strategy and detailed execution
Strong understanding of consumer psychology and marketplace dynamics
Passionate about consumer marketplaces
Experience in low-frequency, high-consideration, low-trust consumer categories, such as marketplaces, automotive, real estate, insurance, fintech, healthcare, or travel.
Selling a car is something consumers may only do every few years. Trust, price expectations, commitment, and timing matter enormously. We want someone who understands those dynamics and knows how to build growth around them.
You should constantly help us answer:
Where is growth constrained? Why? And what is the highest-leverage thing we can do about it?
We’re looking for someone who can build the growth system, make high-conviction bets, allocate resources toward the biggest opportunities, and still get into the details personally.
