About The Shelf

At The Shelf, we hack algorithms with outrageous creativity and data-backed insights, turning cultural relevance into measurable ROI.

We’re scaling fast, partnering with top-tier brands, and building a marketing engine that practices what we preach. Now, we need a Head of Growth Marketing to lead our own evolution — making The Shelf a category-leading brand while driving relentless revenue growth.

In this role, you’ll take full-funnel ownership: AI-powered content, paid media, ABM, influencer-led outreach, and event-driven flywheels. You’ll fuse brand and demand, designing programs that generate pipeline today and brand equity tomorrow.

What You'll Own & Deliver

Strategic Growth Mandate

● Architect a unified GTM engine combining demand gen, ABM, influencer marketing, paid channels, and AI-first content.

● Lead The Shelf’s brand expansion — deepen market presence, cultural resonance, and thought leadership in the influencer + marketing space.

● Drive measurable outcomes: pipeline growth, enterprise deal closes, account expansion, and scalable acquisition.

Key Objectives & Milestones

● Acquire 35–40 new enterprise accounts (each ~$1M+ in opportunity) while expanding business with current Fortune 1000 clients.

● Elevate brand metrics — share of voice, expert media placements, awards, speaker opportunities, and creator ambassador ecosystem.

● Improve funnel efficiency — optimize from MQL → SQL → Closed, control CAC, and increase ROI per marketing dollar.

Growth Levers & Execution

AI-Powered Content Engine: Build high-volume, high-quality thought leadership, blog posts, executive LinkedIn content, reports, and more

using generative tools.

Influencer & Creator Strategy: Integrate The Shelf’s core strength — connect creators to demand, repurpose creator content, enable

allowlisting, and embed influence into acquisition strategies.

Account-Based Marketing (ABM): Target top enterprise logos with segmentation, executive content, ads, VIP experiences, and hyper-personalized campaigns.

Paid & Organic Acquisition: Manage paid media (search, social, display), SEO/content-led acquisition, partnership channels, and

optimization.

Event & Content Flywheel: Scale Shelftopia and live events into content machines. Repurpose panels, keynotes, and moments into funnel

inputs.

Measurement & Optimization: Define metrics, build dashboards, run experiments, and optimize channels across the funnel.

Leadership & Cross-Functional Coordination

● Co-own pipeline goals with Sales; drive alignment through growth meetings and collaboration.

● Own the Marketing budget and P&L: prioritize channels, shift spend dynamically, and measure ROI.

● Build, mentor, and lead a high-performance marketing team (internal + agency).

● Serve as the internal “market voice” — translate campaign and sales insights into messaging, positioning, and strategic adjustments.

● Report to executive leadership on performance, forecasts, growth strategy, and brand health.

What you'll do

  • A reliable stream of enterprise leads and $1M+ opportunities sourced or influenced by marketing.
  • Elevated brand authority — press features, awards, thought leadership recognition, influencer mentions, and increased share of voice.
  • A content → demand → attribution flywheel that scales efficiently.
  • Marketing growth that maintains strong ROI: controlled CAC, increasing LTV, and improved funnel conversions.
  • A mature and empowered marketing team executing autonomously under your leadership.

You, the Perfect Match

  • 7–10+ years in growth marketing, demand generation, or related roles, with significant leadership experience.
  • Proven experience scaling enterprise B2B or high-growth marketing organizations, ideally in adjacent fields like influencer, social, retail media, or performance marketing.
  • Track record in building multi-channel demand engines, ABM, and combining brand & demand strategies.
  • Analytical, metrics-driven, experiment-oriented: comfortable with funnel modeling, attribution, and performance optimization.
  • Hands-on digital marketer: SEO, paid media, content, conversion optimization — you’re not purely strategic but also operational.
  • Creative, bold, strategic thinker: capable of generating big ideas and executing them with rigor.
  • Excellent communicator, collaborator, and leader who can align cross-functional teams and inspire execution.
  • Bias for action: thrive in ambiguity, move fast, iterate continually, and take ownership.

Why the Shelf

  • You’ll operate at the intersection of creativity, influence, and performance — not just an “influencer agency,” but a data-first growth partner.
  • You’ll build legacy: this role sits squarely at the engine of our future success.
  • You’ll work with a global team of creative, strategic, and data-first minds.
  • Our culture values boldness, curiosity, and impact over hierarchy.
  • Remote-friendly with roots in Atlanta, we value flexibility and high performance.

If the chance to lead The Shelf’s evolution — from high performer to category leader — gets you fired up, we’d love to hear from you. Apply now and join us in building the next generation of influencer-driven growth.
