About the Role

As our Head of Growth, you will own and drive Knapsack’s end-to-end growth strategy and execution, with a direct focus on building and managing pipeline, and leading both our marketing and business development efforts. You will work closely with the Co-Founder and CEO to define strategic priorities and execute initiatives that accelerate revenue growth, customer acquisition, and market presence.

This is a senior leadership role, critical to Knapsack’s success as we scale our platform within the design systems and enterprise SaaS markets.

  • Design campaigns that attract and convert target customers, positioning Knapsack as the leader in design system operations.

Lead Business Development & Partnerships

  • Identify, develop, and manage strategic partnerships and integrations that drive customer acquisition and market expansion.
  • Build strong relationships across the design, engineering, and product ecosystem to amplify Knapsack’s reach and impact.

Build and Lead High-Performing Teams

  • Recruit, manage, and mentor team members across marketing and business development functions.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning to drive performance and outcomes.

Define and Optimize Growth Metrics

  • Establish KPIs for pipeline development, marketing performance, and partnership success.
  • Use data-driven insights to iterate on strategies and maximize ROI.

Collaborate Across the Organization

  • Work closely with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success to align growth initiatives with customer needs and product capabilities.
  • Partner with the CEO and leadership team on company-wide strategy and planning.
What We’re Looking For

Experience: 10+ years in growth, sales, or marketing roles, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership capacity.
Startup & Enterprise SaaS DNA: Proven success in building and managing pipeline and go-to-market strategy in early-stage B2B SaaS companies targeting enterprise customers.
Pipeline Ownership: Demonstrated ability to drive pipeline generation strategies that lead to significant revenue growth.
Marketing & BD Leadership: Experience overseeing both marketing and business development teams, driving integrated growth initiatives.
Strategic & Hands-on: Ability to set strategic vision while executing tactically in a fast-moving environment.
Leadership: Track record of building, mentoring, and leading high-performing teams.
Collaborative: You thrive working cross-functionally with founders, product, engineering, and customer success to drive unified outcomes.
